LOOK || CIDG arrests former PalawanSU Criminology Dean for grave oral defamation

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) apprehended Vilma Venus Andoy, 52, former Dean of the College of Criminology Justice Education at Palawan State University (PalawanSU), within the main campus in Brgy. Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City, at 5:20 p.m. on January 22.

Andoy is facing charges of grave oral defamation under Article 358 of the Revised Penal Code following allegations of malicious attacks on her victim's professional reputation related to her field.

"As per the complainant's statement last year, the suspect tarnished her professional career by falsely claiming she did not graduate from her master's degree and making various derogatory remarks about her profession," CIDG chief P/Major Joseph Severino said. | via Arphil Ballarta
