It is with deep respect and sorrow that we announce the recent passing of Dr. Eliseo S. Dela Cruz, whose dedication to PHACTO Bulacan and his impactful leadership have left a lasting legacy. Dr. Dela Cruz will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to promoting cultural heritage and tourism development in Bulacan. His contributions have shaped PHACTO’s vision and mission, inspiring countless colleagues and partners along the way.

In the wake of this profound loss, we are honored to announce that Mrs. May Arlene DG. Torres has been appointed by the People's Governor Daniel R. Fernando as the OIC-Department Head of the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office of the Province of Bulacan and assumed her responsibilities on October 21, 2024. Mrs. Torres brings her own wealth of experience and dedication to this role, with a proven commitment to advancing the goals that Dr. Dela Cruz championed. As Mrs. Torres steps into her new role, she is devoted to honoring Dr. Dela Cruz’s legacy, upholding the values and vision he held dear.

PHACTO Bulacan extends its deepest sympathies to Dr. Dela Cruz’s family, friends, and all who were touched by his life and work.

We invite everyone to join us in welcoming her and in honoring Dr. Dela Cruz’s memory. This honors both Dr. Dela Cruz’s contributions and Mrs. Torres’ new leadership.
