This artwork was an entry in the Sining Filipina Event in January 2024.

Is an Abstract Expressionism painting. With a random rhythm stroke of pallet knife and textured pouring technique on canvas and repeating feminine pallet colors with it. Those colors represent feminism, energy, passion, and power, I also indicate a touch of Filipino culture with it, by using a random weaving pattern. The gold color on it represents the golden light of women, it’s like a successful and fulfilling path. I also used neon red to specify new colors it’s like saying how open-minded and understanding a woman is.

Rhythm of Eve, is a cycle of life of a woman. Happiness, fulfillment, success, focus, and wealth are the gold color path, and the other path which has different feminine colors represents sacrifice, pain, anger, and struggles that look like a camouflage with the background. Like what a mature woman or a mother is. She doesn’t let others know her pain, she’s always willing to sacrifice and show happiness. Those two paths are connected in this painting and have the same ending. Like every success have sacrifices or sadness have happiness, they are one. That is why the “Rhythm of Eve” was all of it.
