Cebu Pacific Advisory #5
Additional Cancelled Flights Due to Super Typhoon Pepito
As of November 17, 2024; 10:00 AM

Super Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-Yi) continues to impact parts of the Philippines, bringing heavy rains and strong winds. The storm remains on its projected path over North and Central Luzon, with adverse weather conditions expected in areas such as Metro Manila and Clark.

Following the latest public advisories issued by PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) on Super Typhoon Pepito, we anticipate disruptions to our flight operations in the coming days. We remain in close coordination with airport authorities and ground handling partners to ensure passenger safety.

Cebu Pacific (CEB) has cancelled additional flights for November 17, 2024:
• 5J 120/121 Clark – Hong Kong - Clark
• 5J 943/944 Clark – Bangkok - Clark

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website:

1. Free Rebooking
Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund
Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund
Full refund of your ticket.

CEB is also offering flexible options, including free rebooking and Travel Fund, for passengers who wish to postpone their flights to and from all domestic and international destinations from November 17 to 18, 2024. Passengers may avail of their preferred option online up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

The safety of our passengers and crew remains our utmost priority. CEB strongly advises its passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have confirmed bookings for flights which are currently still planned to operate. Please monitor the status of your flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status or on the CEB mobile app and update your contact details via the Manage Booking portal https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking to receive email and SMS notifications on flight reminders.

We strongly urge our passengers to consider whether their journeys are essential and give serious consideration to rescheduling travel plans to a later date.

For other questions or concerns, passengers may send a message via Charlie the virtual assistant on the Cebu Pacific website, or through CEB’s official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. We will provide updates as necessary.
