✨ Meet Rogie and Maine, our 2023 Rookies of the Year!
🌱 Rogie: Rogie’s advocacy for environmental sustainability found its home at POEI. Thus, despite the heavy workload of being an engineering student, he made time to join Outbound Education trips. In doing so, he was able to live out his ikigai by becoming an accredited facilitator in POEI - doing what he likes, contributing to what the world need, and gaining monetary reward in the process.
💡 Maine: Maine was in the middle of her psychometrician board review when she enlisted as an Outbound Education trainee. Not only did her experiences with POEI served as a much needed break and breather during her grueling review, it also gave her an opportunity to hone her public speaking and interpersonal skills, which she now uses in her career.

The MOA was signed by General Romeo S. Brawner, JR., PA, Chief of Staff of the AFP, and Ramon C. Jocson, Executive Director of Outbound.

This was witnessed by MGen Arvin R. Lagamon, PA, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations (J7), and Rosa-Vina P. Jocson, Director for Operations of Outbound in the presence of MGen Jimmy D. Larida, PN(M), Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (J3); MGen Ramon P. Zagala, PA, Commander of the Civil Relations Service AFP; BGen Edgar C. Torres, PAF, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for CMO (AJ7); and Col. Rolando Dumawa, PA (Ret), Consultant of Outbound.

The signing was preceded by a brief presentation of the Outbound Education Learning Experience Design (LXD) to the AFP officers, CMO practitioners, and attendees of the 3rd CMO Forum 2024.

This agreement will further strengthen the AFP’s thrust in Youth Development through relevant, curriculum aligned learning experiences. Outbound has been offering programs within military facilities since 2007.

At The World of Outbound, we believe that education must transcend the four walls of the classroom. It’s when theoretical knowledge meets real-life experiences that the symphony of learning truly begins.

In our ongoing pursuit of excellence in educational services, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 - a groundbreaking initiative made possible in partnership with Rex Education. This milestone was celebrated last Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Camp Capinpin (Tanay, Rizal), with the theme “Peace Education: Transforming Filipino Learners through Experiential Learning.”

During this momentous event, stories were shared, connections were built, and a new era of education was ushered in. It was also a proud moment for us to unveil the Armed Forces of the Philippines - Outbound Education Program, in conjunction with the Office of Civil-Military Operations. This program exemplifies the synergy between education and patriotism - reinforcing our shared commitment to nurturing well-rounded, socially responsible Filipino citizens.

We are deeply grateful to all our partner institutions who supported us in marking this occasion. Your unwavering dedication to experiential learning is vital as we collectively strive to foster a new generation of Filipino learners equipped not only with knowledge, but also with the skills and values necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Together, let’s continue to champion peace and the ongoing development of our learners through dynamic and transformative educational experiences.

We are a Quezon City-based company with a social quest; to bring Filipino learners to various natural and social destinations in and out of the country and immerse them in the real world, in real time and in real conditions. We do so because we believe that experiential education can create global citizens with a zeal to help build our nation.

We are looking for an 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 with the following qualifications:

- Female, preferably a graduate of accounting (underboard) and/or related field
- Knows basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Able to use accounting software such as Peachtree or Quickbooks
- Experience in bookkeeping for at least six (6) months.
