I’ve been feeling down and missing papa lately, BIGTIME. If my dad was alive, I know he'd be so delighted to fly. He might even enroll as a pilot at his age. My father has a heart for extreme adventures. While my siblings and I were still babies, he’d ride us in his motorcycle and buy us bicycles even before we could walk. When I was in grade school, he allowed me to ride alone and explore neighboring towns, coming home with scraped knees and bruises all over.

Growing up, he made us ride in choppers and light aircraft that flew us into the jungles of Mt. Province. He made us swim in rivers, ride in boats, and travel in ships. He made me hike, camp, sleep in the cold, and survive the wilderness. He allowed me to get lost and find my way home. I remember how his face would light up when he’d oftentimes show me videos of his ultra-light experience. When I started paragliding, I would always imagine what his face would look like when he’d fly.

Before he died of cancer, the last plan we talked about was me applying to be a crew in the Doulos Ship after graduation. And then he died and I started my own adventures alone.

Today, one very close to my father’s heart flew with us. And the smiles on his face made me cry so happily inside. And I’ve been crying since then.

What will make these tears stop falling? I think a new motorcycle. :P

8 months later, this is my "open-report" to that person who told me to my face, "You don't know what you're doing. You're stupid. That logcabin is a waste of time. You're wasting your time on things that will not give you money. YOU'RE STUPID." To all those on the other side, holding spears of lies and armors of deceit, aiming aggressively towards me and my team, hear ye:

You all caught me on a depressive panic-anxiety season and used my mental health condition to trample over me. You came like a conceited Goliath and shouted arrogant threats that made us all retreat in quiet surrender. But what you didn’t hear is God's silent whisper to HIS children, "vengeance is mine."

I am not perfect. Many times I have crawled begging to the Lord for forgiveness and mercy. But one thing I have hold on to for the longest time is God’s promise that, “I will be THE FATHER to the fatherless”

So like David, I step onto this battlefield today, my mind a little bit clearer, and my heart 10x stronger declaring to all my enemies, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied… All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s!”

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

If not for you, we would not have grown to this. Every dream starts with a seed. And God, thru you, has watered that seed to bloom into something beautiful for his glory. Thank you to all our partners, house & land owners, guests, campers, passengers, local & foreign pilots, neighbors and to the Ambaguio community for being part of this passion project. Since we moved up to this logcabin, we have been able to promote Ambaguio Turismo by doing the following:

1. Trained 5 Kalanguya solo pilots, locals of Ambaguio for free
2. Trained 3 new local solo pilots of Nueva Vizcaya for free
3. Trained 1 professional local tandem pilot for free
4. Flew over 277 tandem passengers
5. Welcomed over 5,000 guests
6. Hosted over 5 DOT Regional, provincial and local tourism-related events
7. Employed 2 local volunteers
8. Serve only 1 God

Our prayer is that we continue to be rooted in humility so we can soar above these hard times. Again, thank you to you, from the bottom of our hearts!
