United Airlines has landed in Cebu!

The American airline launched its inaugural Narita to Cebu flight on October 27. The Boeing 737-800 airplane carrying 166 passengers was welcomed with a grand water cannon salute when it landed at Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

“This milestone, which we have celebrated with our key stakeholders today, not only strengthens Cebu’s global links but also opens a world of travel possibilities for Filipinos, making journeys to the USA easier and more accessible than ever. Time to plan more journeys with United,” MCIA shared in a post.

United Airlines will operate daily flights between Cebu and Narita, with the first flight departing from MCIA at 9:30 AM and arriving at Narita at 3:15 PM. The returning flight from Tokyo leaves at 5:30 PM.
