Cebu Pacific flew over 1.1 million passengers to and from the Iloilo International Airport. Thanks to its expanding network, CEB achieved significant growth in seat capacity, marking an impressive 84% year-on-year increase—from 136,000 seats in January 2024 to nearly 250,000 in January 2025. Similarly, its flight frequency to and from Iloilo saw a remarkable 57% year-on-year growth.

🏆 Pinoy Pride: Denice Zamboanga Becomes the First-Ever Filipina MMA World Champion!

Filipina mixed martial artist Denice Zamboanga has made history by defeating Alyona Rassohyna via technical knockout to claim the interim atomweight MMA world championship during ONE Fight Night 27 at Lumpinee Stadium, Thailand, on Saturday.

Zamboanga’s decisive victory came at the 4:47 mark of the second round, earning her the honor of being the first-ever Filipina MMA world champion.

In addition to the interim title, Zamboanga received a US $50,000 performance bonus, further cementing her incredible achievement.

The line will start at Banlic station in Calamba, Laguna and it will terminate at Daraga, Albay. The line will be 565 km in length with 35 stations, and passenger trains will travel at a top speed of 160 km/h. The project is a complete rebuild of the old PNR South Main Line (the Bicol Express).

Package 1 will be the main line running from to ( ). This is expected to be 380 km long, the longest of all packages.

Package 2 will be the Daraga - Line. Primarily, it will be running over province with a length of 102 km.

Package 3 will be the Branch Line. This is a branch line that will separate from the main south line towards Batangas City. It will be 45 km long.

Package 4 is the shortest of all with 29 km long line. The line will start from in and will end in Banlic.

BAGUIO AMONG CLEANEST CITY IN SOUTHEAST ASIA (2024)
Congratulations Baguio!
Baguio is in the list of cleanest cities, Ranked 5th, with the lowest pollution levels in Southeast Asia, according to the 2024 Mid-Year Numbeo Pollution Index.

Baguio was not the only city in the country to gain recognition. Three other Philippine cities – Davao ranked 2nd, Cebu ranked 10th, and Manila ranked 14th. All these three cities made it to the top 16 cleanest cities, highlighting their tremendous efforts in addressing environmental concerns.
