It was Sir Irineo or Daddy Bon’s unparalleled kindness, unwavering integrity, and solid commitment to excellence that set him apart as a dignified sorbetero. His passion for crafting quality ice cream and connecting with his customers positioned him on an extraordinary path.

With his hard earned money, he set up his first small eatery in UP Diliman campus mainly serving ice cream based frozen desserts, pancit, and sandwiches.

On September 18, we will be celebrating an incredible 74 years of delicious flavors and success. Get your share of some free delicious sorbetes ice cream! 🍦

We are proud to introduce Ms. Angelina Simon, or as we affectionately call her, 'Nanang Helen.' She represents the very heart and soul of our cherished LQ family, and her incredible journey with us spans over five (5) remarkable decades. If you're a longtime Little Quiapo patron, you'll instantly recognize her warm smile and comforting presence – she's as much a part of our history as our signature dishes.

Nanang Helen's connection with Little Quiapo began in 1969 when she was taken under the wing by none other than our founder, Irineo G. Bartolome, fondly known as 'Daddy Bon.' Their connection ran even deeper because Daddy Bon was her father's cousin. Back then, our team was like an extended family of close-knit friends and relatives from Pampanga. In the beginning, Nanang Helen was a diligent working student, but her unwavering dedication and trustworthiness quickly made her an irreplaceable part of our administrative staff. Her journey didn't stop there; she later became a respected supervisor, earning the trust and admiration of everyone.

What's truly heartwarming is that Nanang Helen's deep love for Little Quiapo is one of the reasons she’s still a cherished member of our LQ family today. Nanang Helen vividly remembers Daddy Bon’s admirable character. He was a man filled with compassion, generosity and integrity. And it’s his unique kindness and commendable leadership that motivated Nanang Helen to dedicate her efforts to seeing Little Quiapo prosper to greater heights. Her story isn't just about devotion; it's a testament to the solid bonds and warmth that define us.

Nanang Helen isn't just a part of LQ's success; she represents the core of our longevity and is a part of our living legacy. And in true Nanang Helen style, there's no slowing her down as she carries forward the legacy that Daddy Bon so carefully built.

From the bottom of our hearts--Nanang, thank you so much for being an extraordinary example and source of inspiration to your Little Quiapo family. Your loyalty and dedication are truly unmatched!
