Just when the summer heat driving people to losing temper, it was no bar to our foreign guests. They were bent on to discover and learn how sustainability coupled with social enterprise work extraordinaire in a farm in a nearby province. There, they immersed themselves in the revitalizing powers of nature as they tour the farm with all the plants and animals making them a little paradise of its own. They explored the lush gardens brimming with vegetables, fruits, and flowers, and immersed themselves in real living practices. A salad preparation session and a full-course meal showcased the garden's bounty, empowering students to embrace nutritious eating habits.

This is what describes the students' 3rd day in the Philippines as they master rhythm, agility, and coordination to dance Tinikling at a performing arts theater in Quezon City, to foster cultural understanding and preservation and promote physical fitness and mental stimulation. For their next stop, the students went to a university in Makati City to engage in cross-cultural exchange with the local youth, play Filipino games, explore the campus facilities, and eat delicious local merienda.

On their 2nd day in the Philippines, students from Singapore experienced the Filipino brand of wellness through sustainable practices when they visited a farm in Batangas. Here, they learned about a sustainable community project from the founder of Gawad Kalinga himself, Tito Tony Meloto. Not only that, the students were also able to plant bamboo which they can revisit as it grows. They also toured the farm to observe sustainable farming techniques firsthand and enjoyed farm-to-table Filipino cuisine.
