Adventure and photography are two great things that extraordinarily complement one another, they are meant for each other, at least for me, and that's exactly how I perceive myself and Magz, the person beside me in the photos. Yes, it's possible that they may not co-exist, but together, they make wonderful memories that can last a lifetime and can even bring you back to a moment where you can feel the exact feeling over and over again. Adventure can give an exceptional story to a photograph, while photography can keep an adventure from running away for it can freeze a certain moment.
I have realized that in any journey, who I travel with is more important than my destination. Having said that, some, or should I say a lot might disagree. I may also sound like a hopeless romantic at this point, I really am, but my previous statement does not make the destination less important, in fact, the once ordinary destination itself can be turned into a more unforgettable one. It is like turning a certain setting into a remarkable surrounding, as if you own it, as if you can write your name on it, and you can never look at it the same, ordinary way again. In all journey there will be inevitable humps and bumps along the way though, unfortunate you may call it sometimes but I must say, the experience will always be phenomenal. The feeling of not worrying about anything, just enjoying the moment, doing unplanned things, seeing not the tourist spots, but witnessing and being part of the simple way of living of the people and locals are the things that matters. I was able to do a lot of things I haven't done bravely before and most importantly, seeing life in a new different perspective. Some may look like just an ordinary photo, but the ADVENTURE that happened there made the story behind these PHOTOGRAPHS.
To travel the world has been one of my greatest dreams, but one thing has always been proven right and true, that travelling with the person most important to you can make the experience even more special and really worthwhile, It's as if you wanted to grasp the moment and never let it go. Indeed they were experiences worth keeping, we may not have a lot of money, but it always turns out to be more about sharing a place I enjoy and love with him, knowing at the same time that he loves it too... and that for me is priceless."
A simple tip for those like us who travels as a couple alone, a tripod will be the best equipment for you to use.
