LOOK: 👀 APO REEF NATURAL PARK NAMED AN ASEAN HERITAGE PARK 🌏
The Apo Reef Natural Park, a breathtaking marine sanctuary in the Philippines, has been officially recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park, highlighting its ecological significance and stunning natural beauty.
Out of the five newest additions to the prestigious list, three come from the Philippines, showcasing the country’s rich biodiversity and commitment to conservation. Apo Reef, located in Occidental Mindoro, is the largest coral reef system in the Philippines and the second largest contiguous reef in the world. It is a haven for diverse marine life, attracting divers and nature lovers from across the globe.
This recognition places the Philippines at the forefront of preserving Southeast Asia’s natural wonders and emphasizes the importance of protecting these ecosystems for future generations.
