It is a Spanish Cuartel built in 1864 by the first Spanish Gobernadorcillo, Don Pedro Sanz, married to Dona Enriqueta Perez of San Fernando.
It was constructed out of coral stoneswooden beams and floor tiles with watch tower majestically stood at the back of the casa itself.
