PASSENGER REMINDERS - UNDAS 2024
We expect a large volume of passengers to travel by air to, from and within the Philippines during the coming Undas holiday period before and after November 1 and 2.
Here are a few reminders to help you prepare and plan for a smooth Undas journey:
โข CHECK BEFORE YOU FLY. Check the status of your flight before leaving for the airport โ log on to www.philippineairlines.com and tick the Flight Status button and log in your flight number.
โข SKIP THE LINES. Check in online via www.philippineairlines.com or your mobile app within 24 hours up to one hour before your flight.
โข STAY WITHIN YOUR FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE. Ensure that your bags are within the allowable free check-in baggage weight as indicated on your ticket.
โข CHECK YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. Ensure the completeness and validity of all travel documents.
For International trips:
โข Passport should be valid at least 6 months from your date of travel
โข The name on your ticket must be exactly the same as the name reflected in your passport
โข Ensure that you have required visas, permits, vaccination card (if appropriate) and other documents required for your destination
For Domestic trips:
โข Bring your valid government, school, or company-issued ID
โข Ensure that the name on your ticket is exactly the same as the name reflected in the ID presented upon check-in and boarding
โข REGISTER FOR E-TRAVEL. International travelers are required to fill out the E-Travel registration online, as mandated by the Philippine authorities.
โข KNOW YOUR TERMINAL. Check your terminal assignments. In Manila, PAL domestic flights depart from NAIA Terminal 2, while PAL international flights depart from NAIA Terminal 1.
โข HIT THE ROAD EARLY TO REACH THE AIRPORT ON TIME. Expect heavy traffic in bigger cities like Manila and Cebu, so leave home extra early. Be at the airport at least three (3) hours before domestic travel, or at least four (4) hours before international travel.
