From 11 October 2021, people who travel to Great Britain from Thailand and have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with doses from AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson, will be able to visit the UK without quarantine.

From 11 October 2021, people who travel to Great Britain from Thailand and have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with doses from AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson, will be able to visit the UK without quarantine.

If travelers are not fully vaccinated or get vaccinations that are not recognized by the UK, they must provide a further PCR test one time, three days before entering the UK. After that, a 10-day home or hotel quarantine is required, along with testing for COVID on day two and day eight after arrival.

Update on Thailand’s quarantine measures
From 1 April 2021, 00.01 hrs. (Thailand time) onwards,

- Quarantine period will be reduced from 14 days to no less than 10 days for travellers from countries with no cases of COVID-19 variant strains.

- Travellers from countries with cases of COVID-19 variant strains are subjected to 14-day quarantine.

- For travellers with vaccine certificate and travelling from countries with no cases of COVID-19 variant strains may be eligible to no less than 7-day quarantine. This condition will only apply to those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved by World Health Organization (WHO) or Ministry of Public Health of Thailand no less than 14 days before the travelling date. Travellers must present vaccine certificate (an original paper or a print out of online vaccine certificate) to International Port Health Control at the port of arrival, otherwise you may be quarantined for no less than 10 days.

Remark: The list of countries with COVID-19 variant strains will be determined and updated by the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand every month.
