Please anticipate heavy traffic on the way to the Manila airport, caused by higher travel volumes along with a stricter inspection by relevant authorities of all vehicles entering the arrival and departure areas of the Manila airport terminals.

The situation may continue in the coming days and may continue to cause heavy traffic.

Please allow yourself adequate lead time to travel to the airport, to ensure that you will make it in time for your flight.

There are also a number of construction projects in the vicinity of the airport that may contribute to heavier than usual traffic.

JUST IN: President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Art Tugade announced that from March 28 to April 30, 2022, the MRT-3 will provide FREE RIDES to train line passengers.

This comes after the rail line's huge rehabilitation was completed successfully, and it was officially inaugurated today, March 22, 2022.
