This vacant lot near the garden has long been a waste of good arable land. Hopefully we can successfully change that as we conquer it for the meantime in the name of plantcraft.

"Matriarch" - The garden's newest definition of size. 20 species and at least 36 individual plants were rooted into this. The dragon cresting the top symbolizes strength and power to the deserving. This pot is nearly three feet in height. The main clay piece (a pot with a 55 inch bottom circumference) was donated by the first woman president of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Rosario Setias-Reyes. Atty. Setias-Reyes has fought for the rule of law and human rights in many occasions during her career - particularly last year against the state-led harassment of leaders from progressive sectors. This piece goes out as salute to her accomplishments and advocacies - both past and in anticipation of more.

Relatively smaller pieces compared to most broken pots, SIPA pieces are meant as compact decorative specimens for places such as your end table, bathroom or dining space.

Opening the BP page really, really softly so I've invited a few select that should help the transition. The content here versus that which will be in the group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/bpplantcraft/) will henceforth be distinct (the demarcations are still being figured out).

Sadly, I must ask you people to like and comment again if any of you have the time. This will make the page look good to those who will transition in when this actually opens.

This is a series based on something a lot like small plant arrangement but meant to be hung either indoors or outdoors (some of them should be kept sheltered from elements though). Introducing, Wall Planters - features relatively smaller pots suspended to fill spots on walls, tree trunks and other spots where hanging is possible.
