Philippines Update: Travel Ban Extension

All passengers coming from or who have been to India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman and the United Arab Emirates within 14 days immediately before arrival in the Philippines will not be allowed entry until 31 July 2021. Diplomatic Representations from the aforementioned countries are exempted from this Travel ban.

Filipinos coming from the above mentioned countries covered by any official repatriation programme of the Philippine government or through a Non-Philippine government repatriation efforts will be allowed entry with the following measures:

• Philippine Government Organized Repatriation - The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) shall provide the necessary approvals forty-eight (48) hours before the departure date.
• Non-Philippine Government Repatriations
• Non-Philippine Government Repatriations can be initiated by the repatriate’s
Local Manning Agency, (in the case of Seafarers)
Philippine Recruitment Agency, (for Land based workers); or
a sponsoring Philippine Government Agency

The Philippine Bureau of Quarantine shall be the sole authority that will provide the approval for all Non‑Philippine Government repatriations.

All Filipino repatriates from the countries with travel restrictions must present a negative RT-PCR result, with the test taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to boarding. A printed copy of the RT-PCR result must be presented upon check in for validation purposes. The printed copy of the negative RT-PCR result of the repatriate shall be submitted to the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) upon arrival in the port of entry in the Philippines.

Quarantine Requirements for all Repatriates from the Restricted Countries

All repatriates from above mentioned countries with travel restrictions in effect shall be placed on a strict fourteen‑day (14-day) facility-based quarantine from the date of arrival in the Philippines, with the date of arrival being the first day.

Passengers transiting through the above mentioned restricted countries are subject to the following rules:

• All transit passengers will be allowed to enter the Philippines provided that they stayed in the airport for their entire transit period and were not cleared for entry into these coun tries by their respective immigration authorities.
• Upon arrival in the Philippines, passengers must undergo the existing testing and quarantine protocols of the Philippine government.

CEB Advisory on Resumption of Domestic Passenger Flights to/from Manila

As of Aug 18, 2020; 2PM

Cebu Pacific and Cebgo will resume a number of domestic flights to and from Manila on August 19, 2020, following the announcement of General Community Quarantine over NCR:

CEB will continue to operate flights from Cebu to Clark and to Davao.

We also intend to operate limited international routes, namely: Manila-Dubai-Manila, Manila-Seoul (Incheon), Tokyo (Narita)-Manila, Manila-Singapore-Manila, and Manila-Taipei-Manila.

CEB will also continue to mount all-cargo flights to ensure transport of essential goods across the country. To assist stranded guests, we will also continue working with national and local governments.
