RT-PCR TEST REQUIRED FOR TRAVEL TO BORACAY & REST OF AKLAN PROVINCE

To our valued passengers:

Starting January 9, 2022, as mandated by the Aklan local government under Executive Order No. 001 Series of 2022:

• All travelers bound for Boracay and other areas in Aklan Province, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to present a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours before flight departure.

• All passengers bound for Boracay must land at Caticlan Airport. (Travel to Boracay via Kalibo Airport will no longer be allowed.)

📌 FOR PREGNANT PASSENGERS INFORMATION GUIDE!

1. More than 34 weeks (8.5 months) pregnant NOT ALLOWED.

2. Less than 34 weeks (8.5 months) pregnant must bring a MEDICAL CERTIFICATE stating the age of gestation with notation “FIT TO TRAVEL” signed by the personal physician.

3. Travel must commerce within 7 days of the certificate’s issuance.

4. Pregnant passenger must fill-out a special handling form (at the airport or download online)

MORE PAL SPECIAL FLIGHTS FROM

DUBAI TO HELP FILIPINOS FLY HOME

This October, Philippine Airlines will operate more special flights from the UAE (United Arab Emirates) in support of the Philippine Government’s “Bayanihan” repatriation program.

Our upcoming Bayanihan flights:

· Dubai-Manila (PR 659) – 4x a week (Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun)

October 04, 06, 08, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31

We will continue to update the list once new dates are finalized.

Please take note of the following reminders:

1. Only Filipino Passport Holders will be allowed to board these flights.

2. Passengers must present the One Health Pass QR code prior to aircraft boarding. Register through https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC and completely fill out all required fields.

3. Passengers will be subjected to 10 days facility-based quarantine upon arrival.

4. Passengers must undergo an RT-PCR test after 7 days of quarantine in the Philippines.

All land-based and sea-based OFWs will be billeted in BOQ-designated stringent quarantine hotels coordinated by PAL with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Department of Tourism (DOT). The quarantine hotels for OFWs will be paid and assigned by OWWA.

Hotel transfers of sea-based OFWs should be arranged by their LMA (Local Manning Agency).

Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) or non-OFWs should have a confirmed quarantine hotel reservation for 10 days/9 nights in the same BOQ-designated stringent quarantine facilities.
