KAPARKAN FALLS🍃💧
is a breathtaking natural wonder located in the province of Abra, Philippines. Known for its stunning turquoise waters and picturesque surroundings, the falls have become a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
But Kaparkan Falls is more than just a beautiful sight to behold. The falls hold a rich history that dates back to the pre-colonial era. According to local legends, the falls were once a sacred site where the people of Abra would gather to offer prayers and sacrifices to their gods.

GANANO FALLS🍃💧
Quirino is full of hidden wonders — one of which is Ganano Falls. If you’re someone who loves venturing into unexplored areas, you’ll want to know about this.
Ganano Falls is a 100-foot waterfall in a mountain area in Diffun, Quirino. It’s about an hour away from Baguio Village, where the registration area is. Ganano Falls has three “offspring” waterfalls, which are smaller and can also be visited on the way.
It’s said that Ganano Falls is the most-sought after waterfall in Quirino Province.

I found a piece of home at Mingay Cove.
Unknown to many, there is a piece of home found in the westernmost part of Cagayan. They call it the greenest garden of the north, the Municipality of Santa Praxedes.
Santa Praxedes is located on the border of Ilocos Norte and Apayao Province. It’s no wonder this unique town is a mixture of the cultures and races of the Ilokos, Yapayaos, and Cagayanos. It might be the smallest town in the province but it boasts breathtaking sceneries that captivate one’s soul. From its picturesque mountain ranges, stunning waterfalls, and rivers to its scenic coves, Santa Praxedes is indeed a paradise one must experience.
Mingay Cove is just one of its gems. This cove can’t be admired in just a couple of hours so I packed my camping gear and stayed there for a night. Join me as we explore this new piece of home in the northwest.

Quirino province was blessed with diverse natural resources, such as awesome caves, rivers, breathtaking waterfalls, mountains and valleys, forests, plantations, and minerals.
Maddela Water Falls & Forest Resort is a seven-staged waterfall with crystal clear water and pool basins where you can have a dip. The area is ideal for people looking for a place for picnics and relaxation. The surroundings are cool and shady because of the vibrant forest, which you can also explore. It is a good nature retreat and you can trek along the forest path while admiring the tranquility of the environment.

SAMPALOK CANDY from the PHILIPPINES 🍬😋
Living in a country with round-the-year good weather has spoiled Filipinos with easy access to a large variety of native fruits, many of which are naturally prepared as candy.
The staple fruit candy in the Philippines is tamarind, a favorite throughout Southeast Asia, all the way to the Middle East. Simply prepared with salt and sugar, and occasionally with sweet potatoes as a filler, tamarind candy is the sort of simple food pleasure that never fails to evoke nostalgia.

Did you know all about The Presendential Fish in the Philippines?
A species of mullet reputed to be one of the favourite dishes of former president Ferdinand Marcos is facing extinction in the Philippines because it is so valuable, a fisheries official said Saturday.
The fisheries bureau is calling for a five-year ban on the catching of Cestraeus plicatilis, locally known as "ludong" or "banak".
It is found in only a few countries, and in the Philippines its habitat is limited to a few rivers in the north.
It sells for 5,000 pesos (114 dollars) a kilogram, which only the wealthiest can afford, making it the most expensive fish in the Philippines, Ayson said.

Come and visit SOUTH COTABATO
⛳LAKE HOLON
It was named by the people of South Cotabato as the Crown Jewel of the South for the crown like appearance of the crater surrounding the lake.
In 2003 and 2004, the national government named Lake Holon as the cleanest inland body of water in the country. Being part of the Allah Valley Protected Landscape, it was also hailed in the world as one of the “100 Sustainable Destinations” by the global Green Destinations.
⛳HIKONG ALO FALLS
After flying almost 200 meters above ground through Lake Sebu’s Seven Falls Zipline, we huffed and puffed our way to the park’s second waterfall. The path was easy enough but adrenaline was still pumping through our blood. After a few minutes, a sheer rock wall lined with layers of time led to the seventy-foot Hikong Bente waterfalls. It was almost the end of our Lake Sebu day tour and all our weariness of riding the habal-habal motorbike all day seemed worth it.

Aklan is considered to be the oldest province of the Philippines. Traditions and cooking practices of our ancestors passed in one generation to another generation. In modern times, these practices are gradually disappearing and forgotten. Preserving the traditional way of cooking is one way of maintaining the authenticity of a dish. And one of the examples is the Chicken Binakol.

SECO ISLAND🏝🌊
Seco Island is a little island off the west coast of Panay island in the middle of the ocean, miles from land and civilization, with the kind of pristine beauty that can only be discovered in isolation. Indeed, God has a way of keeping His finest works safe, and that involves putting them in inaccessible places. Seco Island, which is located offshore of Tibiao, Antique, is one of them. In the native language, “Seco” translates to “elbow,” and aerial photographs of the island show it to have the appearance of an elbow as it floats in clean, green, and blue waters.

Balabac is a far flung municipality located at the southernmost tip of Palawan. It is largely inhabited by a cultural group called Molbog who speak of their own language but are also fluent in Tagalog. The islands of Balabac have recently gotten into everyone’s travel bucket list but only a few could make it primarily due to its geographical location. It is nearer to Sabah, Malaysia than in Puerto Princesa City and is not as accessible as any other tourist destinations in the province like Coron, El Nido and Puerto Princesa City. This could also be observed with the goods that can be bought in Poblacion as these are more on Malaysian products than local ones. The expense that it would mean is another factor. Since it is far and the points of interests are also at a distance from one another, the means of transportation would cost a lot, too. Regardless, a lot would still brave and endure the trip and experience the marvelous Balabac. As such, Sabang Beach of Baler is the birthplace of surfing in the country. From posh resorts to serene home-stays and beach-fronts, this beach gets you stoked! Sabang Beach may not be a pristine beach if white sand is what you dig.
