To travel to Japan
you'll need to meet the following requirements:
1. Passport
Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your planned departure date, and have at least two blank pages for the visa.
2. Visa application form
You can download the application form from the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines website. You'll need to:
Complete the form in blue ink
3. Attach a recent 4.5 cm x 4.5 cm ID photo with a plain white background
Write your name and birthdate on the back of the photo
Other documents
✓You may also need to provide:
A birth certificate issued by the PSA within one year
✓A marriage certificate issued by the PSA within one year, if you're married
✓An itinerary in Japan
✓A bank certificate if you're paying for part or all of your travel
✓Air travel document
Electronic visas are only valid for air travelers.
✓Roundtrip flight ticket
Most airlines and immigration personnel may ask for your booked roundtrip flight.
