PAMILYAR BA ANG BAHAY NA ITO SA INYO? Alam nyo bang ito ang kaisa-isang bahay sa Quezon na dinesenyo ng National Artist? Ito ang Gala - Rodriguez Ancestral House na itinayo noong 1930s at dinesenyo ni Juan Nakpil, ang kauna-unahang Pilipino na National Artist for Architecture ng bansa. Isa rin ito sa mga bahay na may disenyong "art deco" na makikita sa bayan ng Sariaya.

Ang Gala- Rodriguez House ay regalo or birthday gift ni Dr. Isidro Rodriguez sa kanyang asawa na si Doña Gregoria Gala na gustong magkaroon ng dream house kasama ang kanyang 7 anak. Sa kasamaang-palad ay namatay si Doña Gregoria dalawang araw bago ang kanyang kaarawan dahil sa sakit.

Noong May 14, 2008 ay idineklara ng National Historical Commission of the Philippines o NHCP bilang isang Heritage House dahil sa yaman nitong pangkasaysayan at pangkultural.
