An area of 3.75 ha at Solanzo Integrated Farm (SIF) was chosen as a technology demonstration farm for the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Project.

This is a collaborative project of the Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM); the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO III); the Provincial Local Government of Bataan; and the Municipal Local Government Unit of Abucay. This project specifically addresses soil erosion prevention through sustainable land management. Thereby reducing pollution from croplands into Manila Bay, reducing agricultural wastes contributing to pollution in Manila Bay, and rehabilitating and managing micro-watersheds and soil resources.
SIF is very grateful for this five-year project and the support of Siniloan Mayor Patrick Ellis Z. Go and the Municipal Agriculturist, Engr. Carlo L. Realeza.
