Unlike others this is a true vacation home and not a commercial resort or hotel. All cottages offer great views over the turquoise private cove, lush green hills and mushroom islets made of limestone settlements. Whether 2 or more than 12 guests, the place is private to you and the pool will be filled with fresh seawater upon arrival. The climate is tropical with more persistent rains during Janua
ry and February and blue skies and dry weather from March to October, ironically during the Philippines' fiery rainy season from June tru October. This part of the country is not in the typhoon belt. The tropical cottages capture a constant sea breeze. Each cottage has a modern bathroom and private lounging with chairs and fine couches. The seawater mykonos style swimming pool has a yoga and sun deck next to it. The kitchen is modern, open and well equipped. Gardens, cottages, hills and pathways are well lit with LED fixtures, powered by a total of 2,400 Watt solar panels, good for lights, electric fans, media and minor kitchen appliances, 24 hours a day. Our water source is a deep well but we prefer soft rainwater that we catch on a total of 500 sqm sheets on the hills and supply by gravity. Tami is 100% self-sustaining, responsible luxury. Globe and Smart signals are strong and surfing the web is fine on Globe though by times slow. The property is attended to by trained and hospitable staff and an experienced cook, whose services are included in the rental. Activities include good and safe sea and lake swimming, snorkeling, caving, hiking, kayaking, star gazing and night swimming. Every night fireflies congregate in one or another fragrant tree. Intended for nature aficionado, Tami offers the ultimate out-of-town feel. The rate is USD 95 per day, and additional USD 20 per guest more than 2, which becomes only USD 10 per guest, per night after the 2nd night. The cleaning fee is USD 50, charged only once.
