LGU revives Claver Night Market, opens today❗
CLAVER, SDN - The local government unit of Claver has revived and finally opened its regular night market on Friday (July 29) at the Lawihon Boulevard, Barangay Tayaga.
According to LEEDM Officer Atty. Eric Carlo Elpa, a total of 41 vendors, stall owners and walk-in sellers of food, non food and RTWs combined participated during the launching activity.
To signify the revival of the local economy focusing on micro entrepreneurs greatly affected by various restrictions, the regular night market is scheduled every Fridays and Saturdays of the week, same venue.
Mayor Georgia Gokiangkee, Vice Mayor Leah Patan together with other LGU officials and DTI Provincial Director Arnold Faelnar led the ribbon cutting ceremony. Vice Governor Engr. Geed Gokiangkee also graced the event.

Advocacy: I advocate for sustainable fashion. Unbeknownst to many, fast fashion gravely affects our environment and several ecosystems. This is a matter I’ve come to realize since 2019 and have stopped buying from fast fashion brands since 2020. I do my best to minimize my clothing waste by upcycling old clothes or those from thrift stores. Fast fashion may be cheap, but let us not overlook the expensive consequences of its affordable price tag.
