Today marks the 11th anniversary of Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), a day that forever changed the lives of many in Eastern Visayas, especially in Tacloban City.

On November 8, 2013, Tacloban City and surrounding areas were devastated by the strongest typhoons ever recorded in the country, leaving an indelible mark on the region's landscape and its people.

As we reflect on this day, we honor not only the lives lost but also the strength and unity that have carried the survivors forward. Taclobanons, along with the entire Eastern Visayas region, will forever be grateful to those who had helped us get back on our feet again, now a better version, stronger and striving Tacloban City🌿
