Over two (2) months of closure after Super Typhoon Odette hit Bohol, the Loboc River Cruise has resumed its operations last Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

According to Elmer Varquez, Loboc's chief tourism operations officer, an assessment by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) found the river to be safe to cross after authorities cleared the water of debris.

Before deciding to reopen the tourist site, officials from the Bohol Tourism Office undertook a trial voyage.
