Balita | Ang Department of Foreign Affairs - Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) ay nag-anunsyo na ang mga kasal na babae ay puwedeng bumalik sa kanilang maiden name kapag nag-renew ng passport.

Bakit?: Ito ay alinsunod sa New Philippine Passport Act o Republic Act No. 11983.

Pangunahing Tuntunin:

1. Reversion sa Maiden Name:

✔️ Kailangan ng duly authenticated birth certificate mula sa PSA.
✔️ Isang beses lang puwedeng mag-revert sa maiden name. Lahat ng ibang ID at dokumento ay dapat reflect ang maiden name.

2. Mga Kailangan para sa Reversion:

Kung may ibang dahilan, kailangan ang:

✔️ Original at photocopy ng PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth.

First time mo bang mag-travel sa labas ng bansa gamit ang PH passport❓

Narito ang ilang tips para mas maging smooth ang experience mo sa airport.

*️⃣Mag-fill out ng e-Travel 72 oras bago ang iyong biyahe. I can assist you on that.

*️⃣Dumating sa airport 3-4 na oras bago ang iyong flight. Makakatulong ito para may oras ka pang gawin ang ibang bagay bago ang flight.

*️⃣Tingnan ang mga monitor para sa flight status. Makikita mo dito kung on time, delayed, o worst, cancelled ang iyong flight.

*️⃣ Pagdating mo sa airport, bayaran ang Travel Tax para sa mga tourist travellers. Karaniwan itong nasa harap ng entrance o katabi ng Airline Counters.

*️⃣ Pumunta sa Airline Counters para mag-check-in ng iyong bagahe at makuha ang iyong Boarding Pass.

*️⃣ Ang boarding pass ay naglalaman ng iyong Gate Number, Boarding Time, at Flight Departure Time.

*️⃣ Pagkatapos makuha ang boarding pass, pumunta sa Immigration Lane. Isa ito sa mga pinaka-time consuming na bahagi, dahil lahat ng travelers (maliban sa Foreign Passport Holders/OFW) ay nasa isang linya. Maghintay sa iyong turn.

Mga halimbawa ng tanong sa Immigration:

✅Saan ang travel destination mo?
✅ Ano ang layunin ng iyong biyahe?
✅ Kailan ka babalik sa Pilipinas?
✅ May return ticket ka ba?
✅ Nag-book ka ba ng accommodation? Saan?
✅ Sino ang kasama mo?
✅ Nagtatrabaho ka ba sa Gobyerno o Pribadong sektor?

Mga tips sa Immigration:

✅Maging tapat at sagutin ang mga tanong isa-isa.
✅ Huwag masyadong magpaliwanag dahil baka magdulot ito ng bagong tanong.
✅ Magdala ng supporting documents tulad ng COE, Salary, Contract, o Bank Certificate kung sakaling hingin.
✅ Maging confident at focus. Mahalaga ang kaalaman sa iyong travel details.
✅ Pagkatapos ng Immigration Clearance, pumunta sa X-RAY. Bawal ang mga liquids na higit sa 100ml, mga matutulis na bagay, at ang mga pagkain ay depende sa bansang pupuntahan. Bawal din ang illegal drugs at aerosol.
✅ Tingnan ang iyong airline para sa iba pang bawal na items.
✅ Pagkatapos ng X-RAY at kung may oras ka, maaari kang pumunta sa Lounge sa airport. May mga free Lounge para sa mga specific Credit Card holders.
✅ Maging maingat sa iyong BOARDING TIME sa iyong designated GATE NUMBER sa Boarding Pass.
✅ Kapag bukas na ang gate para sa Boarding, congratulations! Panahon na para pumasok sa eroplano at magkaroon ng safe flight!
