Probably the most amazing place I've ever seen from the sky that you can fully grasp how huge this place is. Sohoton Cove is a national park located on Bucas Grande Island near Siargao, and is considered one of the most beautiful national parks in the Philippines. This park can be explored on board with a kayak, sailing through its amazing natural sheltered lagoons, there are also some caves to visit.

It’s incredible to think we had the whole island of Cresta de Gallo to ourselves.

A hour boat ride from Sibuyan island (a stunning island in its own right) you find this absolute gem. The water is crystal clear we could actually see the bottom of the ocean for the entire boat journey.

A boat costs around P3000 ($50-60) pesos to hire and can hold up to 8 people. You can bring a tent and camp here overnight for an additional 150 peso fee ($3).

Boats run to Sibuyan from Batangas so these islands can be accessed from Manila as a break from the city.
