Sincerity Is Tested
There’s nothing more beautiful than the journey of getting to a goal. The journey will teach you certain things you never imagined learning, even things you didn’t imagine doing.
Experiences that only a strong mindset can fulfill. When you set your heart and mind into something, it does not stop there, your faith will also be tested. At the end of each milestone, when you have risen above it all, it is not because of who and what you have become, but because of strong faith, nothing and no one can be against you. Odds will always be in your favor, and people you least expect to help will be there to help. Just remain still with your good intent. Pure, simple, and sincere.
Failure is inevitable. For a time, we attracted everything we wanted, it felt like nothing can get in our way. Then it hit us, “bug fixes”, sudden reformatting of the app’s wire-frames, redevelopment of the design simply because Apple required us to. During that time, we couldn’t afford to be thrown off our timeline after all of the expenses and potential partnerships, yet we were thrown aback. During these times, I questioned why we went this far to just be derailed?
Steve Jobs said “You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” In essence of this, I did what I could, of what I had at hand. So another set of tests were given to strengthen the heart. You will be looked down on, undervalued, backs will turn the other way, yet your sincerity will prevail, and that sincerity, will open doors once again.
People do not understand and sometimes underestimate the level of work that was put in such craft. Don’t let anyone dictate to you your value. Only you and the team knows exactly what it is.
Looking back, you will see who was left to understand and help instead of complaining. These are the people who chose to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.M
