Tuwing pupunta tayo ng Tagaytay noong bata pa tayo, ang akala natin 'yung 'binintiang Malaki' ay ang mismong kinalalagyan ng maliit na lawang may tubig, ngunit ito pala ay isa lamang parte ng Taal Island, dahil nasa bandang likod pa pala ang lawang nakikita natin sa mga postcard.

Ang Taal Lake ay nag-iisang lake sa Pilipinas na may isla o ang Taal island na mayroong lake sa gitna at ang lake na iyon ay may maliit na isla pa.

Sa ngayon, nawala na ang gabutil na maliit na isla sa gitna nito dahil sa pag-alboroto nito kamalakylan, ang lawa ng isla ang nagsisilbi ngayong pinaka-bunganga ng bulkang taal, kagaya ng ilang parte ng isla na may singaw ng asupre noon, isa ang binitiang malaki sa natabunan na ng lupa ang mga butas na huling sumabog early 1700's.

Ulitin natin: ang mga nakikita n'yong katawagang bundok sa isla ng taal na nasa larawan, ay bahagi ng buong taal island o buong BULKANG TAAL, again ang buong isla ay ang BULKANG TAAL including the famous 'Binintiang Malaki'.
