As of 4PM today, April 21, 2020, the Department of Health reports 140 new cases(PH6460-PH6599) of COVID-19. The total number of cases in the country is now at 6,599.

DOH also announces 41 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 654.

Ikinalulungkot po naming ipabatid sa inyong kaalaman na ang Bayan ng Tanay ay may naitala nang unang positive case ng COVID-19 ngayong araw ng Sabado, ika-4 ng Abril, 2020.

Siya ay isang babae, 24 taon gulang. Ang nasabing pasyente ay walang history of travel at wala ring history of exposure. Siya ay may underlying condition na kidney disease at dalawang (2) buwan ng sumasailalim sa dialysis.

Ang surveillance unit natin ay isinasagawa na ang contact tracing at pag mo-monitor sa mga identified close contacts. Patuloy po tayong mag-ingat.

Huwag kakalimutan ang paghuhugas ng kamay, at manatili lamang sa loob ng bahay.
