Cebu Pacific Travel Advisory #5
Flexible Options for Domestic and International Flights until January 15, 2022

As of 4:00PM, January 8, 2022

We are managing the impact of COVID-19 on our workforce after receiving an unprecedented level of employees who are either sick or under home quarantine. Despite best efforts, the current situation has resulted in necessary reductions in scheduled flights.
Flight delays and on-the-spot cancellations remain a possibility given the uncertainty of the situation.
As such, we are encouraging passengers traveling for non-essential purposes from January 8 to 15, to avail any of CEB’s flexible options (rebook, travel fund, refund) through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight).

“We are doing our best to address the needs of both our employees and passengers as we manage this situation and remain committed to prioritizing health and safety above all else. We apologize for the inconvenience this has brought about to our passengers and thank every Juan for their kind understanding, as the whole world navigates through this pandemic,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience.
We hope for the continued healing and recovery of every Juan impacted by the virus, and strength for frontline and medical workers.

Please bring your own face masks and face shields and wear them at all times – at the airport and throughout your flight.
We encourage you to check-in online and arrive early at the airport to allocate extra time for new safety procedures– at least 3 hours prior to departure for domestic flights; and 4 hours prior to departure for international flights.
Our cabin crew will be wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for your protection on board the flight.
All PAL aircraft are equipped with high-technology systems that continuously infuse fresh air across the cabin as well as HEPA filters that trap viruses, bacteria and other contaminants with 99.99% efficiency. The air flow system creates a cleaner environment that is safer than most enclosed public spaces and comparable to hospital operating rooms.
For more information, please see here: https://bit.ly/PALKeepsYouSafe

ADVISORY FOR PASSENGERS FLYING OUT OF CEBU

A few reminders for passengers who are departing on domestic flights from Cebu, considering that Mactan Cebu airport continues to deal with electric power supply shortages and other challenges caused by the effects of Typhoon Odette (Rai):

1. You will need to allot extra time to reach the airport --- target to arrive at least three (3) to four (4) hours before your flight departure time. Travel time to the Mactan Cebu airport may vary because of access road bottlenecks, road debris and cleanup efforts, non-functioning traffic lights and other obstacles.

2. It would help to bring hand fans (pamaypay), bottled water, food/snacks, power banks and other aids, because power, water, and telecom services are still unstable.

3. Please bear with us as our teams cope with the lack of power, telecom and automated services by performing most or all airport processes manually. Staffing and service levels at the airport are also an ongoing challenge because many airport personnel and their families have been directly affected by the storm and are unable to report for work.

Online check-in will be unavailable for departures from Cebu until such time power supply becomes normal. If necessary, we may need to adjust our schedules in coming days.
Please share with your family members in Cebu province who may not have access to internet services.

We will work closely with the airport and local government authorities to restore normal services in due course.
Thank you for your kind understanding. We join with our countrymen in prayers and concern for all the families who are struggling because of the destructive impact of Typhoon Odette in various parts of the central and southern Philippines.

FLYING SAFELY IN THE ‘NEW NORMAL’
PAL is strictly implementing Fly Safe “new normal” practices to protect our passengers, in compliance with international health and safety protocols.
TRAZE CONTACT TRACING APP REQUIREMENT
All passengers flying to, from, or within the Philippines must download and register through Traze Contact Tracing, a unified and automated contact tracing app, before proceeding to the airport.
Passengers who do not have mobile phones or any other mobile gadgets may go to the Traze Helpdesk, located near the terminal entrance in all Philippine airports and at the arrival area of international airports, for registration assistance and QR code printing. Passengers traveling to the Philippines from overseas countries are advised to download the app before they embark on their trip.
Please visit the Traze website to download and know more: https://www.traze.ph.
SPECIAL REMINDER TO CHECK ON UPDATES:
Our plans and schedules may change in response to evolving travel restrictions and quarantine limitations at arrival airports. Kindly check our website www.philippineairlines.com, or follow our social media accounts for updates.
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT
Your health and safety will always be our top concern, and we wish you safe travels.
