Tinago, Samar: The Cradle of Christianity in the Island of Samar

📣TARANGNANON ZUMBANATICS we are inviting you to join our FREE ZUMBA with Zin Raymond and Zin Jepoy on September 26, 2024, 6PM at the Municipal Gymnasium. Zumba Dance Competition will follow after the FREE FIESTA ZUMBA.

🛑ZUMBA DANCE COMPETITION

Mechanics:
1. The competition is for Tarangnanons. We only have 7 slots for this competition.
2. All entries should have a minimum of 10 members and a maximum of 15 members, who may either be composed of all male and female or a combination of both.
3. The duration of the zumba dance should not be less than 3 minutes.
4. Each group is allowed to use props and other appropriate materials except fire and harmful materials.
5. Invited zumba instructors are not allowed to join the contest.

CRITERIA:

CHOREOGRAPHY (formation, combination of movement, & variation) 40%
DEPORTMENT (mastery, timing, coordination & discipline) 30%
PERFORMANCE (grace, skills, and difficulty of steps) 20%
ENTERTAINMENT VALUE (costumes, props & scenery) 10%
TOTAL: 100%

PRIZES:
Champion- Php 10,000.00 + Trophy
2nd Place- Php 8,000.00
3rd Place- Php 6,000.00

GUIDELINES & MECHANICS:
1. The competition is open to all Barangays in the municipality of Tarangnan.
(Inter Barangay)
2. Dance groups should consist a minimum of six (6) members and maximum of twelve (12).
3. The music must be at least five (5) minutes including the entrance but not more than ten (10) minutes including the outro.
4. The group must be at the contest area on time. Failure to be on time is subjected to disqualification. Must be 15 minutes earlier prior the starting time.
5. Order of performances will be based on the number they had picked prior to the contest.
6. Failure to comply with any of the foregoing rules and conditions will result to disqualification.
7. The judges’ decision is final and unappealable.

Prizes:
Champion - ₱10,000.00
1st Place - ₱8,000.00
2nd Place - ₱ 5,000.00
Consolation - ₱2,000.00
