Planning events require tact, creativity, passion, dedication and a long list of trusted contacts. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, the Villareal sisters already knew what they wanted to do and just how they plan on doing it at the tender age of 17 and 20. While most people at that age were busy with academics, extracurriculars and “travel goals,” the two had a different thought in mind. Gro
omed to be successors of like-minded business individuals, the two launched their very own clothing line complete with a billboard ad at an early age; proving that success is not measured by age but how passionate and driven individuals can be. After Realizing that most suppliers and event organizers revolve around motif-based styling, they saw the need to improve and innovate the business, by focusing on the story behind every success/ event. They formulate themes and pattern whatever aesthetic they deem fitting to every individual’s personality. This is what gave birth to “My Candy Events.” Their first stint as event planners in 2012 tested their bond and collaboration not only as sisters but as business partners. And just a year after that, they were given the opportunity to plan and arrange Mr. With only 2 days to plan everything, there was little to no wiggle room for mistakes or delays, but the sisters were able to pull it off with such finesse and grace. As their business grew in popularity and clientele, a million thank you’s for their success felt scarce,so they thought what better way to relish their roots and give back to their humble beginnings than to name their brainchild, “Villareal Events.”
