Welcome to Lake Manguao MCAEZ Taytay, Palawan page. This page is your gateway to all your activities in the Lake Manguao Municipal Conservation Area and Ecotourism Zone (MCAEZ).
Through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed with DENR, The administration, development, and management of the Lake Manguao MCAEZ has been delegated to the Municipal Government of Taytay, Palawan through the joint efforts of the Municipal Tourism Development and Management Office (MTDMO) and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO).
In adherence to its mandate of developing and empowering communities as stewards of our public tourist attractions, the LGU Taytay has signed an MOA with the Lake Manguao Community and Indigenous Peoples Cooperative (LMCIPAC), giving them the authority and rights as the sole Community-Based Sustainable Tourism Organization that will cater to all Tourism Related activities within Lake Manguao MCAEZ public areas, under direct supervision of the Lake Manguao MCAEZ Management Board, the MTDMO and the MENRO.
The LMCIPAC is also given the responsibility to assist and conduct monitoring and maintenance of the tourism facilities in the MCAEZ, as well as its environs. This includes active role and participation in enforcement activities, regular forest patrols, and regular conduct of wildlife and habitat monitoring activities.
