A Brief History of the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao-- Club No. 1294, District 17, Area 04. The Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao was chartered on June 8, 1990. Its charter membership was composed of 24 dedicated women leaders in different businesses and professions. Samia Abraham Henrage was the Charter President. This was organized by its mother club, the Zonta Club of Tuguegarao. In its 31 y

ears of service and counting , the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao has had seventeen (17) presidents as of todate. Members meet once, either physically or virtually during the pandemic, every month where they discuss their plans, current activities and bond with each other. In the past, the venue for the meetings was usually at any designated place in the City. Although this has already changed as the Club was officially appointed as the Manager of the GAD Center of Tuguegarao City on December 10, 2020. The GAD Center will serve as the Club's office, at the same time, a shelter for victims of gender-based violence. It is located at the City Hall grounds in Carig, Tuguegarao City particularly at the Tuguegarao City Senior Citizens Building and manned by two personnel. For now, the Center is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Club Board & Committees: The Board is headed by the President, with the Vice President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary for Recording and Secretary for Correspondence, as its officers together with five members as the Board of Directors. The immediate past president serves as an ex-officio member of the Board. Chairpersons are appointed to head the different committees--Service with Fund Raising and Environment as sub committees, Membership, Advocacy, Education, Z Club and Golden Z, Leadership, SOM, PR & Communications and GAD Management. Membership: Club membership averages 22; there was a time when membership reached 37 with a low of 17. Presently there are 59 paid-up members (2020-2022) and five new members due for registration. This will make the Club 64-strong. Orientation of new members is regularly held. Fellowships are also done in the the monthly membership meetings, either face to face or virtually or both. Membership is being strengthened through meetings, annual parties, during induction/installation ceremonies and field trips/out-of-town activities while attending seminars or officials activities of the Club. After the pandemic, the members hope to have a team building to cement the friendships that have been formed. ZONTA TODAY

You may have been hearing a lot about our club, the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao, which is one of the two clubs here in this City. Our club is a member of the Zonta International, a global community of more than 29,000 women and men in nearly 1,200 Zonta clubs in 63 countries. In the Philippines, there are 51 active clubs and counting with 1,800 members. Zonta International has provided resources to empower women and girls and expand their access to education, health care, economic opportunities and safe living conditions. Zontians believe in making the world a better place by empowering women and finding joy in working together toward gender equity in a supportive community of like-minded professionals that extends to other countries and cultures. Zonta advocates to end violence against women and girls. Every year from November 25 through December 10, Zonta clubs around the world participate in Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women, our international campaign to raise awareness of and increase actions to end violence against women and girls. Zonta empowers women in the workplace by providing educational scholarships to promote women in traditionally male-dominated fields. At the local level, Zonta clubs are making a difference. We identify the most urgent issues affecting women and girls in their communities and develop service and advocacy projects to address these challenges. The issues and solutions vary, as each is tailored to local needs. Under the new normal, the Club can be the link to the future because our tagline for this biennium 2020-2022 is The Link to the Future is NOW…Embrace the New Normal with Optimism for Women, and our theme is “Transitions, Changes and New Opportunities” which is very appropriate because all our programs and/or projects to be carried out should address efforts to "Recover" from the effects of the global crisis, and provide assistance to "Rebuild and Rehabilitate" the community. Since the start of the new biennium this June, we have embarked on activities that would address these needs such as the Gadget Mo, Sagot Ko project which aims to help young girls who belong to indigent families stay in school and pursue their online schooling. As of todate, we have distributed more than 100 gadgets to poor young girls and boys. As we posted in this page, this is one of the biggest “passion” projects that we have because the activity touched us to our very core as we experienced and witnessed their living conditions. One belonged to a family who was a victim of robbery, another has a blind mom, or whose parents lost their jobs during the pandemic, and one lives deep in the forests or in remote fields, or in urban poor areas or slums. Despite all the odds that we encounter during the planning and distribution, we carry on because we know that we make a difference in the lives of these young people. We also have the Knit and Crochet Project which aims to empower unemployed women by providing them a source of livelihood, generate income for the family and maintain their self-worth and self-esteem. We have partnered with several groups of women to produce beautiful crocheted products like face masks, sanitizer and alcohol holders, table runners, coasters, place mats and the latest, which became a hit, are the beautifully created dangling and hoops. The Club has earned a lot from the sales proceeds of these products. As our contribution in the prevention of the spread of the corona virus, we distributed masks, posters and flyers that disseminate information on how to fight the COVID 19 crisis. We have also helped in the alleviation of poverty by replenishing the community pantries in several adopted barangays. And this time, taking advantage of the benefits of internet connectivity, we launched this talk show, ALL ABOUT EVE, to help empower, educate and inspire women and girls about their relevance and importance in the community. This talk show will be one of the means to reach out to the people specially women and girls and listen to them. We make our Club more accessible if not physically then through the internet. We have revitalized our page which is open to the public and where we entertain comments, questions, or requests for assistance. You can easily search this Page on Facebook. Meanwhile, we now have our own physical office because we have been appointed as the Manager of the GAD Center of Tuguegarao City which is located at the city hall grounds in Carig. Any client of the club can meet us there and seek for our assistance. There are so many things to do and we have laid out so many plans for the biennium we are thankful to our partner organizations and agencies, families and friends who have been very supportive of our endeavours. Of course, these would not all be possible without the members’ active support and participation and of course, our God to whom we offer all the glory. Updated by: RACQUEL C. The Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT) continued its “Pamaskong Handog” initiative today, December 18, 2024, extending support to 16 solo parents at Brgy. 12 in Tuguegarao City.

The event, held at the Sumabat-Arnedo Dental Clinic, embodied Zonta’s commitment to uplifting women and families, especially during the holiday season.

The distributed goods were made possible through funds donated by Zonta’s Area 3. Initially intended for women affected by recent typhoons, these resources were repurposed thoughtfully to address the needs of solo parents, ensuring direct and meaningful assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of the community.

As part of the activity, ZCCT President Josefina Sedano and Environment Chair Cheyenne Tang held a dialogue with the solo parents, particularly those residing in flood-prone areas.

President Sedano emphasized the importance of community preparedness and resilience, saying it is crucial that we equip ourselves with knowledge and strategies to face recurring challenges brought by natural disasters.

Environment Chair Cheyenne Tang complemented this by sharing tips on sustainable practices that can help mitigate flood-related risks.

This initiative adds to ZCCT’s growing list of impactful programs, showing that even small acts of kindness, combined with meaningful education and engagement, can create ripples of hope and support for those in need.

The Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT) brought hope and holiday cheer to solo parents during its “Pamaskong Handog” program on Friday, December 13, at SM Downtown. The event catered to solo parents from Barangays Centro 10 and 11, Tuguegarao City, many of whom are survivors of recent typhoons.

Led by ZCCT’s Service Committee, the program aimed to not only spread the spirit of giving but also to empower participants through practical support and informative initiatives.

One of the highlights of the event was the free legal aid provided by ZCCT’s Advocacy Committee, which allowed participants to consult on legal issues. This initiative underscores Zonta’s unwavering dedication to championing the rights of women and families in the community.

Additionally, ZCCT’s Environment Committee inspired attendees by delivering a short but impactful talk on sustainable practices, promoting eco-friendly habits even amid the festive celebrations.

The distributed goods were purchased using funds donated by Area 3, which were originally allocated for women impacted by the typhoons. By repurposing these resources thoughtfully, ZCCT ensured the assistance directly supported those most in need, staying true to Zonta’s mission of uplifting women and families.

The Pamaskong Handog event stands as a testament to ZCCT’s commitment to its advocacy pillars, combining meaningful assistance with education and empowerment. It highlights the spirit of generosity and solidarity that defines the Zonta movement, particularly during the holiday season.

My Zonta journey is a testament to my unwavering commitment to empowering women and fostering meaningful community impact. As a woman of vision and action, I have dedicated myself to shaping the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT) into a dynamic force for change, both locally and internationally.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲

My affiliation with Zonta began in June 1996, when I was inducted as a member. From the very beginning, my passion for advocacy shone brightly, and over the years, I held various key positions, steadily climbing the ranks within Zonta International:

• 2008-2010: As ZCCT President, I ushered in a new era of revitalized membership and engagement.

• 2010-2012: As Chair of the Committee on Advocacy and Legislative Awareness, I focused on advancing women’s rights and awareness campaigns.

• 2012-2014: As Vice Area Director, I contributed to the growth and development of Area 4.

• 2014-2016: As Area 4 Director, I led with innovation and inclusivity.

• 2016-2020: As ZI District Vice Chair of the Membership Committee, I focused on expanding Zonta’s network and influence.

• 2020-2024: As ZI District Vice Chair of the Leadership Development Committee, I helped nurture future Zontian leaders.

• 2023-Present: As Country Club Creator, I am tasked with establishing new Zonta clubs across the Philippines.

• 2024-2026: I currently serve as ZI District Vice Chair of the By-Laws and Resolutions Committee, ensuring structural integrity within the organization.

𝐑𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐙𝐂𝐂𝐓’𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭

When I assumed the presidency of ZCCT in 2008, the club was at its lowest ebb, with dwindling membership and unsustained activities. I recognized the urgency of the situation and embarked on a mission to rejuvenate the organization. My approach was twofold:

1. 𝙍𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥: I spearheaded efforts to recruit new members while reactivating former ones. My personal touch and dedication inspired many to agree to join, including influential leaders who would later serve as presidents, such as Darie and Madel, and later as I continued to spearhead recruitment as Chair of the Membership Committee, I also recruited Racquel, and Marj as well as active members who are future leaders of the club.

2. 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨: I reintroduced regular monthly meetings enriched by expert-led discussions on relevant topics. I also designed engaging activities aligned with Zonta’s biennium goals. These efforts not only reinvigorated members but also fostered a sense of purpose and belonging.

Under my presidency, ZCCT flourished, setting the foundation for the thriving organization it is today.

𝐀 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭

I believe that somehow I have left an indelible mark on ZCCT. The club has grown significantly in membership, becoming what it is now, a well-structured and highly active organization.

Thanks to the dedication of other active and veteran Zontians as well as officers, who always placed the interest of the club in the forefront, often sacrificing personal comforts. Task delegation and member involvement have been hallmarks of this transformation, ensuring that Zonta is not just an advocacy group but an integral part of its members’ lives.

Our activities have expanded in scope and impact, addressing pressing issues and making a tangible difference in communities. I always feel proud when my club, the ZCCT, achieve unprecedented heights.

I am thrilled that through the members' collective efforts we have been able to elevate Zonta’s public profile, earning the club respect and credibility. Today, ZCCT is a go-to partner for local governments and other stakeholders on issues concerning women’s welfare and empowerment.

𝐀 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞

As the current Country Club Creator, I continue to play a vital role in Zonta International’s growth. My dedication to creating new clubs across the Philippines ensures that Zonta’s mission reaches more women and communities, inspiring others to join the cause.

𝐀 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞

My journey with Zonta has been a shining example of how dedication, vision, and leadership can transform an organization and the lives it touches. My legacy will forever inspire Zontians to strive for excellence in service, advocacy, and empowerment.

I am Marietta Gadduang-Reyes, fondly called “Zis Connie” by my fellow Zontians. My journey with the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT) has been a lifetime of dedication, passion, and service.

Since my induction in 1992, I have committed myself wholeheartedly to the cause of empowering women and girls. These years with Zonta have been filled with purpose and fulfillment.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲

Through the years, I have had the privilege of serving ZCCT in various capacities—from taking on the role of President for BN 2002-2004 to representing our club in area meetings and district conventions.

Each role I embraced was an opportunity to lead with purpose and to contribute to our shared mission. I have always strived to exceed expectations, knowing that the work we do has the power to create lasting change.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁

𝐙𝐂𝐂𝐓’𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐀 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞

In the storied history of the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT), I am humbled to be recognized as part of its legacy. Fondly called “Manang Edna” by the younger members, I consider it both an honor and a privilege to be one of the founding members of ZCCT—a role I hold dear to my heart.

On June 8, 1990, ZCCT was born under the leadership of our Charter President, Samia Abraham Henrage. Among the 24 founding members, I joined with a deep commitment to the vision of advancing the status of women and girls. Over three decades later, that passion continues to drive me.

𝗔 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

My journey with ZCCT has been one of purpose and dedication. In 1992, I was entrusted to serve as the club’s president during its formative years. But for me, leadership has never been confined to titles. It has always been about action, about making a difference in the lives of others.

“Every woman and girl we empower is a step closer to a better world.” This belief has guided my every action.

Even after my presidency, I remain actively involved in ZCCT’s mission. From meetings and events to outreach activities, I strive to be present and to embody Zonta’s mission of service and advocacy.

𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

As the only remaining active founding member of ZCCT, I hold the privilege of being its living archive. My memory is a treasure trove of stories—events and milestones from the past 34 years that I recount as if they happened yesterday.

I have witnessed the modest beginnings of the club and seen how far we’ve come. Each advocacy campaign, fundraising drive, and service project fills me with pride, knowing I was part of these meaningful efforts.

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

My dedication extends to preserving the tangible symbols of Zonta’s history. I still keep all my BN T-shirts neatly folded in my cabinet and proudly display my collection of Zonta pins. Each pin is more than just an accessory—it’s a cherished reminder of the milestones we’ve achieved as a club.

“You’d think I hoarded them,” I often joke. But to me, these mementos are symbols of my unwavering commitment to Zonta’s cause.

𝗔 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

As the years pass, my energy and enthusiasm for ZCCT remain as strong as ever. I’ve vowed to devote my remaining strength to this organization because I believe in its mission wholeheartedly.

The younger members of our club have often expressed their appreciation, not only for my memories and insights but for the example I strive to set through selfless service. Together, we have shaped ZCCT into the vibrant and impactful organization it is today.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

For me, this journey is not just a story of service—it’s a call to action. I hope to inspire everyone in our club, especially the younger generation, to continue our work with passion and purpose. Our mission is far from finished; there is always more we can do to empower women and girls.

As I look back on my time with Zonta, I am filled with gratitude and pride. I stand with my fellow Zontians, knowing we’ve built something extraordinary. The future of ZCCT shines brightly, and I will continue to give my heart and soul to ensure that we leave a legacy of empowerment for generations to come.

The Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT) recently conducted an outreach program for 38 female psychiatric residents of the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC), showcasing its steadfast commitment to service, compassion, and the empowerment of women.

This initiative was more than just a charitable act—it was a reflection of ZCCT’s mission to uplift women and provide a sense of dignity, care, and belonging, even to those in the most vulnerable circumstances. By addressing their immediate needs and extending thoughtful gestures of kindness, the program reinforced the club’s advocacy for women’s well-being.

The outreach included the distribution of critical personal care items aimed at restoring the residents’ sense of self-respect and hygiene:
• Shampoo
• Bioderm soap
• Toothpaste
• Powder
• Combs
• Toothbrushes
• Biscuits
• Sanitary napkins
• Adult diapers

To cater to specific needs, the club also ensured:
• 6 packs of adult female diapers (size medium)
• Sanitary napkins for 25 residents

In addition to providing these essentials, ZCCT prepared and served nutritious meals, fostering a sense of warmth, connection, and community with the residents.

This outreach aligns with Zonta’s global mission of advancing the status of women and promoting gender equality. By reaching out to these female residents, ZCCT reaffirmed its belief that empowering women begins with empathy and direct action, no matter the setting. Initiatives like these emphasize the importance of dignity and respect for all women, empowering them with the care and support needed to face their challenges.

Through this Day of Service, ZCCT continues to make strides in its mission to create a world where women’s rights are recognized, and their well-being is prioritized. One act of kindness at a time, the club strengthens its role as a beacon of hope and empowerment in the community.

Day 14: Day of Community

ZCCT EMPOWERS WOMEN THROUGH SKILLS TRAINING ON HANDMADE CROCHET

The Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT) conducted skills training on handmade crochet participated by women and girls from the Padday Na Yena mothers and the Regional Haven for Women and Girls at Villa Blanca Hotel, Tuguegarao City as part of its 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence.

Ztn. Janet Bunagan warmly welcomed the participants and members of the ZCCT, highlighting the need to remember the mission of the Club to help alleviate the status of women and girls through skills training which provides for livelihood for the participants.

“Padday Na Yena” – an Ibanag term which means “Made by Mothers”, is a livelihood project initiated in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, which aims to empower stay-at-home Cagayana women to have their own income.

Past President (PP) Raquel Arnedo-Sumabat also acknowledged the attendance of the participants from the Regional Haven for Women and Girls (Haven), an institution which provides an alternative form of care to disadvantaged and abused women and girl victim-survivors. Through the skills training organized by the ZCCT, the participants from the Haven will be empowered by providing them with alternative sources of income.

The participants were trained by Teacher Ruby Jane Badajos, a renowned crochet artist in the community and owns RJ’ Handmade Crochet. The participants were taught on how to make Zontabubu dolls, which includes No to VAW pin and a bag tag with a Zonta emblem attached to it. The price range of such products ranges from P650.00 to P680.00 only – a perfect gift this holiday season, with a good cause.

At the end of the skills training session, members of the ZCCT, headed by President Josefina Sedano, distributed relief packs to the participants who were also victims of the typhoons , , , and .

This activity aligns with the Zonta International’s mission to support projects that address the diverse needs of women and girls focusing on economic empowerment, and ending violence against women and girls.

As part of its commitment to the 16 Days of Activism and its advocacy for climate justice and sustainable initiatives, the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao extended its outreach to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the BJMP Tuguegarao City Women’s Dormitory.

In line with its environmental-friendly projects, the Club provided materials to support the PDLs in their rug-making project. This initiative not only promotes recycling and upcycling as a means of reducing waste but also equips the PDLs with a sustainable livelihood skill, empowering them to contribute positively to their community even while in detention.

To further express its care and support, the Club distributed essential toiletries to each 32 women-beneficiaries, including powder, toothbrushes, toothpaste, face towels, shampoos and combs. For snacks, the PDLs and the BJMP personnel at the female dormitory received biscuits, mamon, Spanish bread (1 box with approximately 100 pieces), and drinking water. These thoughtful gestures fostered camaraderie and uplifted the spirits of the women during the activity.

This outreach activity embodies Zonta’s dedication to service, advocacy, and the advancement of environmental sustainability while championing the dignity and rights of all women, including those in marginalized and vulnerable communities.

DAY 13: Day of Outreach

ZCCT AND BARANGAY LINAO NORTE SIGN MOA ON PLASTICS COLLECTION & RECOVERY

Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao, represented by President Josefina T. Sedano and Barangay Linao Norte,Tuguegarao City, represented by Barangay Chairperson Renato A. Narag, formally signed their Memorandum of Agreement on Plastics Collection and Recovery on December 7, 2024.

Provisions of the MOA emphasize that as one of the effects of climate change, Tuguegarao City has experienced flash floods on a regular basis in recent years, and the Barangay Linao Norter is one of the flood-prone barangays. The club is is aware that the community is already at risk of more severe and frequent flooding due to plastic waste blocking drainage and sewage systems, a number set to increase if plastic pollution goes up.

ZCCT is focused on the elimination of plastics in the community as they are 100 percent recyclable and have value beyond their initial use—and therefore, should not end up in landfills or waterways. This recyclable material should re-enter the value chain as resource or feedstock for recycling. Both ZCCT and Barangay Linao Norte are aware that an efficient segregation and elimination of plastics in the barangay shall only be achieved if the people in the community are involved and incentives shall be provided to those who will actively engage in such undertaking.

The parties agree that incentives boost the program's sustainability, as well as cooperation and participation of barangay constituents in the collection and recycling of plastics. Hence, ZCCT undertakes to supply Barangay Linao Norte with cavans of rice monthly that will be used to exchange with the plastics to be collected by the residents.

The MOA is a part of ZCCT's Climate Justice Program which aims to address the effects of climate change especially on the more vulnerable sector of women and girls in the community.

The Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao (ZCCT) actively participated in the Mural Painting Contest Against Human Trafficking held today, December 7, 2024, at the Cagayan National High School.

The event, spearheaded by the Department of Justice and in line with the International Day Against Trafficking, aims to raise awareness and inspire collective action to combat human trafficking.

As a steadfast advocate for women’s rights and gender equality, ZCCT joined forces with participants from various government agencies and local government units to translate this year’s theme, “One Nation, One Action. In the New Philippines, End Human Trafficking Now!” into compelling visual art.

The club’s dedication to amplifying the call to protect the vulnerable, particularly women and children, was clearly reflected in their mural contribution.

Mural designs, pre-approved by the RIACAT Secretariat, were brought to life and reviewed by a distinguished panel of experts. Contestants showcased not only their artistic talents but also their passion for creating a powerful message of unity against exploitation and trafficking.

Through initiatives like this, ZCCT continues to champion human rights advocacy, aligning its efforts with RIACAT and other partners to foster collective action. Their participation today underscores ZCCT’s unwavering commitment to building a safer and more equitable society.

The murals painted during this event serve as a vivid reminder of the importance of community collaboration in the fight against human trafficking, embodying the vision of a world free from exploitation.
