Dubai OFWs On Their Way Home after 48 Hours
Results of the RT-PCR tests of the passengers who arrived at Clark International Airport (CRK) on Friday, 5 June 2020 via an Emirates commercial flight, were released on Sunday, 48 hours upon arrival. The test samples were sent and processed at the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital who committed and delivered this very impressive turn-around time.
Following the receipt of their certificates from the Bureau of Quarantine, the passengers are now on their way home. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administation (OWWA), who is taking care of the OFWs and the Department of Tourism (DOT), who is in charge of returning non-OFWs in cooperation with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and (Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board) LTFRB have mobilized teams to send them back to their hometowns today.
Consistent with LIPAD's Mission of providing our customers with a seamless travel experience, this is indeed a remarkable occasion as we fulfill the wish of our stranded heroes to at last see their families at the soonest possible time. This would not have been possible without the successful collaboration between Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD) Corporation, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) The BCDA Group and the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) with the essential roles and achievements of the Bureau of Quarantine, Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Philippines (DFA), the Department of Tourism - Philippines (DOT), OWWA Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Philippine National Police (PNP), the Department of Interior and Local Government DILG Philippines and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board - LTFRB. All these agencies worked tirelessly to send our fellowmen to their homebase as early as possible.
