Sorry for making that “One Minor Accident”

It always seems impossible until it is done. 🙏🏻

When we started to plan for this event last August of 2022, we had to put emphasis on one factor that will be the defining element of the entire challenge: SAFETY.

We have heard in the past that Endurance Challenges are ‘accident magnets’. Though we cannot deny it, but we can change it.

Hence, the creation of Butt Break Zones that is included in the safety mechanics of our event. All riders are required to take a rest for at least 20 minutes in the Zone, excluding the additional time a participant will be penalized if he/she will show incomplete Photo Op Spot images to the Event Marshals.

By purposely requiring participants to take a rest once in a while, it can discourage them from overspeeding which will result to lesser chances of accidents from happening.

Lo and behold, we did something what others may think is impossible: ZERO MAJOR ACCIDENT. With the cooperation of all the participants and our Event Marshals, we achieved this great feat last night after the last 6 participants made it to the journey’s end unscathed. As a matter of fact, a total of 127 participants were accounted and made it safely to our Official Finish Line.

This may not be heard by many but by this achievement, we were able to erase the notion of the public that Endurance Challenges are ‘accident magnets’.
