This caravan offers tourism enterprises with expired or soon-to-expire DOT accreditation an opportunity to apply for renewal and maintain their accredited status.

Visit Sta. Cruz Island! Breathtaking blue water and pinkish coralline sand. National Geographic recognized it as one of the 21 Best Beaches In The World. The island has a dense mangrove forest. This can be experienced through a Lagoon Tour in which visitors can have a magical encounter with stingless jellyfish as they can be touched as long as they are submerged in water. In addition to this you can also take that Instagram-perfect photo at the Sta. Cruz Island Sand Bar which is only a short boat ride away from the main island. However, Sta. Cruz Island has a regulated number of visitors, so it is highly encouraged to book in advance to secure slots when visiting the island. LOOK || Delegates from different LGUs partook in the Cultural and Historical Walk Tour of Zamboanga City.

The LGU Training on History and Heritage was conducted at the Western Mindanao State University from November 4 up to November 6, 2024.

During the conduct of the training the attendees were treated to a Cultural and Historical Walk Tour facilitated by the City Tourism Office of Zamboanga City headed by Ms Sarita Sebastian.

The tour serves as a means to showcase the different cultural and historical landmarks that are situated right at the heart of the city.

It was an exciting night at the Joaquin Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex for the finals of the COPA HERMOSA Football competition.

Football players from all over the country have gathered in Zamboanga City to compete against the best of the best. Match after match these athletes showed their best until only two teams remained——- the Redcorals United and Alia FC!

After a riveting back and forth between each team, neither one letting up, both driven by the spirit of sportsmanship and instrinsic urge to win and showcase their skills and talent the match ended with a FINAL SCORE of 2-1 in favor of ALIA FC.

27th Commemoration of the Passing of the Indigenous People's Rights Act.

The CIty Government of Zamboanga, under the leadership of Mayor John M. Dalipe, affirmed his commitment in fighting for the rights of indigenous people as well as showing his firm advocacy in preserving and honoring their legacy.

Zamboanga City IPMR representative Hon. Aida Paniorotan delivered a powerful speech on the importance of safeguarding local culture and traditions.

The commemoration was supported by Majority Leader Congressman Mannix M. Dalipe and Vice Mayor Josephine Pareja

The commemorative activity was organized by the City IPMR Office in partnership with the NCIP Zamboanga City along with the 5 Indigenous Tribes of Zamboanga City--- Sama Badjao, Sama Bangingi, Yakan, Kolibugan, and Subanon ICCs./IPs.

TOUCHDOWN of the inaugural Cebu Pacific flight from Iloilo City here in Zamboanga City.

A ceremonial water salute was initiated as a gesture of celebration for the landing of the aircraft.

Personnel from the City Tourism Office, CAAP, and the Zamboanga International Airport eagerly waited at the Zamboanga International airport to warmly welcome the passengers from the flight—— showing them our exceptional brand of Zamboangueño hospitality.

City Tourism Officer Miss Sarita Sebastian-Hernandez personally welcomed the captain and crew of the Cebu Pacific flight from Iloilo showcasing her enthusiasm and support for this milestone in Zamboanga City.
