Water is a part of a worldwide integrated water system holding intact the whole ecological system and the life in all its forms. Therefore, every living organism has the right to use water and a responsibility to pay back to the nature in accordance to its water usage.

The “Influencing Sindh Water Policy and its Nexus with DRR and Climate Change" project recognizes the significance of District-Level Policy Dialogue in engaging all key stakeholders to drive transformative change.

In response to the critical interplay between water policy, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), and Climate Change, a series of district-level policy dialogues is set to unfold across six key districts in Sindh:
Sukkur, Ghotki, Dadu, Sanghar, Hyderabad, and Badin.

The primary objective is to disseminate information about the approved irrigation policy, with a specific focus on small farmers, growers, and water user associations. In connection a district level event was held at Gymkhana Badin today by LHDP with support from Indus Consortium and Oxfam (in Pakistan).
