kalash people are descendants of Alexander the great.In past era they have ruled over Chitral for thousand years and they are called the native prince tribe of Chitral but as time passed another tribe overcome on kalash tribe they are called Raees ,They defeated Kalash, tribe after that kalash people are living in three remote valley's of kalash called Rumboor, Brir and Bumburate .the kalash tribe are very generous, kind-hearted and hospitable therefore they are famous all over the world. Thousands of Domestic and foreigner tourist visit kalash valley's every year .there are some physical similarities among kalash tribe and Greek by skin colour, eyes colour and height.kalash people speak kalasha language.we well come you to visit the unique people and i hope you will see unique things here in kalash. they celebrate different types of festival in a year among them some famous festivals are Chilimjoshi, Chomos and Uchaw.
Chilim Joshi festival is celebrated in the month of May , Uchaw festival is celebrated in the month of August and Chomos festival is celebrated in the month of December. In next month kalash people are going to organise their Chilim joshi festival in the month of May from 12 to 17 May if anybody want to explore the unique culture please come to kalash.
