APBF Welcomes Kazakhstan Business Delegation!

As the voice of Pakistan's business community, APBF is thrilled to facilitate connections between Kazakh and Pakistani entrepreneurs.

A business delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Alibek Bakayev, visited Pakistan to explore trade and investment opportunities.

H.E. Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan invited APBF President Mr. Syed Maaz Mahmood in this event and Mr. Maaz applauds the efforts of excellency to strengthening bilateral ties.

APBF held its board meeting at the Lahore Gymkhana, bringing together esteemed members to discuss key initiatives.

APBF Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi, chaired the meeting, providing valuable guidance and insights.

APBF President, Mr. Syed Maaz Mahmood, briefed members on recent meetings with US Embassy officials to strengthen bilateral ties, Italian Ambassador to explore trade cooperation, Kazakhstan Ambassador to discuss investment opportunities. And share the exciting plans ahead that APBF is planning a business delegation to Canada, Korea, and Kazakhstan, fostering global connections.

Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi led a thought-provoking discussion on Pakistan's current economic landscape, focusing on Ease of doing business
Challenges & opportunities and its Strategic solutions.

Strengthening US-Pak Business Ties!

APBF Chairman Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi, President Mr. Syed Maaz Mahmood, and National Board Member Mr. Asim Sheikh had an interactive meeting and great discussion with Mr. Robert C. Newsome, Deputy Economic Counsellor, and Mr. Charles J. Perego, Economic Officer, of the United States 🇺🇸 Embassy Islamabad.

APBF Chairman Ibrahim Qureshi acknowledged the support of United States during all tough times and opportunities provided by Robert C. Newsome to explore between US and Pakistan.

APBF President applauded the facilitation of US Embassy in strengthening bilateral trade while offering assistance to business community of Pakistan. He said being the biggest trade Partner of Pakistan the US has engaged APBF in road shows and business conferences and events and APBF look forward the same.

Robert Deputy Economic Counsellor US Embassy appreciated the efforts of APBF engagement with US Embassy Islamabad while providing serious business groups to get B2B, JVs and Technology transfer to Pakistan. He further emphasised to keep a close liaison between US Embassy and APBF to further establish bilateral trade and people to people contact on both sides with regular meetups conferences boosting trade cooperation, investment opportunities, and economic growth.

APBF President Syed Maaz Mahmood had a productive meeting with Korean Ambassador H.E. Park Ki Jun in his office and discussed opportunities to strengthen Pakistan-Korea ties. They discussed enhancing bilateral trade, cultural exchange, and people-to-people contact and cooperation between the two nations. President Syed Maaz Mahmood applauded Republic of Korea for their support to Pakistan and great friendship between Korea and Pakistan.

They also discussed several opportunities including joint ventures, investments, B2B and entrepreneurship, especially in key sectors like Research and Development, technology transfer, textiles, and renewable energy. The meeting highlighted the immense potential for collaboration in education, tourism, and infrastructure development, paving the way for a brighter future for the business communities of both countries.
