Gilgit Gateway Hotel & Restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center of Gilgit Baltistan in an extremely characteristic, quite and lively area within short walk distance to all sites and is surrounded by the extraordinary beauty of churches, buildings, shops and monuments. Our hotels are pleased to offer a preferential treatment to all guests, with a view to making your stay a memorable and pleasant one. While relaxing in your chair you can read daily newspapers or weekly magazines The true specialty of the house is a vast choice of absolutely fresh meat, fish, seafood and vegetables cooked on a lava stone grill. This particular stone is extremely smooth and compact and confers an unmatched flavour upon all foods. The superb mix of grilled food and an outstanding selection of Italian, French and Californian wines will be accompanied by a discreet and professional service making every single rendez-vous the most pleasant of occasions. At lunchtime we are pleased to offer a plain menu rich in the perfumes and flavors of the Mediterranean cuisine. In the evening, dinner is pleasantly accompanied by live Jazz Blues music. Services The hotel comprises a total of 40 rooms, on 4 floors with elevator, completely soundproof. The executive rooms were completely renovated in 1995, decorated with natural colors of white and beige, wooden floors, some of them has travertine marble bathrooms (some of them with whirlpool bath). All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with all comforts including private bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, personal safe and hairdryer. The breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room every morning from 7.00 am to 12.00 am.
