Pakistan known as the land of civilizations,Starting with the ancient Indus Valley civilization (ruins of Mohenjodaro,there are also many other archaeological sights of interest,for example the Buddest Ruins,the Garden Mosque and the monuments of famous Mughal period in th subcontinent. With our Cultural and Buddhist tours we have a specially tailored itenerary to see a combination of all the historical places that we have in Sindh,Peshawar and Frontier, For example in Lahore we would cover most of the places built during the famous mughal rule. Pakistan is blessed with the three greatest mountain ranges of the world,i.e. Himalayas, Karakoram and the Hundukush. The foothills of these ranges start from Abbbotabad, about one and half hour drive from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan and the International Airport. The Hindukush range is the first you will encounter near Swat Valley.In short, we can say that the whole Northern Area and part of NWFP comes under these ranges, thus extending from Shard to Chitral it gives us a space of 800 Kilometers in length from East to West and about 400 miles North to South.With such a vast area of mountains,valleys,pastures,rivers and peaks you can very well imagine how trekking areas you can find in these ranges.Many of those have already been done while many are still virgin tracks.This is one of the reasons why it is known as a paradise for climbers and trekkers. to visit the most remote and unspoiled valleys of these ranges.As most of the villages are interconnected by a dirt track,a 4x4 jeep becomes a necessity to visit these places in the summer. Our Jeep safari trips, offer you the history, culture and adventure of the area.AS you travel through these valleys, you will experience the life of these parts for yourself as well as the lifestyle of the olden days which still exists. Our jeep safari trips,of the northern areas of Pakistan are from mid/ June to end of February.They offer to start your trip from one of the ranges and travel all the way to another e.g. from the Hindukush to the Himalayas. ON our way one can visit the Kalash Valley of the Hindkush range: where the people claim to be the descendant of Alexander the great and go over the Shandar pass where you will find the highest polo ground of the world is found. A tournament is played there every year. Further on, you can also visit the famous Hunza valley under the shadow of the majestic Rakaposhi Peak, where the people are said to live for hundred years. The shooting is done in autumn at several locations in the country.Wild Boar being in abundance,the Government encourages its hunting since the animal causes considerable crop damage. In the Northern areas trout fishing is also done in abundance as those areas are a paradise for trout fishers.You have the choice of either stream or lake fishing.
