کہیں آپ لاعلم تو نہیں... اگر آپ ناران، بابوسر ٹاپ، سکردو، گلگت، خنجراب، کمراٹ، سوات یا چترال کے دو چار سیاحتی مقامات دیکھنے کے بعد اپنے آپ کو بہت بڑا سیاح سمجھنے لگے ہیں تو شاید یہ آپ کی معصومیت ہے... جناب! آپ پاکستان میں ہیں اور یہ دنیا کا خوبصورت ترین خطہ ہے، ہمالیہ، ہندوکش اور قراقرم کے سلسلے کا ملاپ جس خطے میں ہوا ہے وہ ان سلسلوں کا سب سے دلچسپ حصہ سمجھا جاتا ہے. آپ ناران کئی بار جا چکے ہیں اور ہر بار وہاں کسی اچھے سے ہوٹل میں قیام کر کے واپس آجاتے ہیں، زرا زیادہ شوق ہوا تو سیف الملوک اور لالہ زار دیکھ لیا، لولوسر جھیل اور بابوسر پاس کو دیکھنے کے بعد تو آپ خود کو اور ہی دنیا کی مخلوق سمجھنے لگے ہیں... آپ اچھی سی گاڑی میں بیٹھ کر خنجراب کو ہاتھ لگا آئے ہیں خاندان میں مشہور ہوگیا کہ 'لڑکا "ایڈوینچرس" ہے، چین کے باڈر سے ہو آیا ہے.' معذرت کے ساتھ لیکن مجھے افسوس ہے آپ کے معیار پر... آپ اسے اپنی خوش قسمتی کہیے یا بد قسمتی... کہ آپ ایسے خطے میں پیدا ہو گئے ہیں جہاں دنیا کی بیس میں سے آٹھ بلند ترین چوٹیاں موجود ہیں... جہاں ایک ہزار سے زائد ایسے مقامات ہیں جس کی سیاحت کسی صاحبِ ذوق انسان کی زندگی کی سب سے بڑی خواہش ہو سکتی ہے... آپ K2 اور راکاپوشی کو تو چھوڑ دیں، صرف نانگا پربت کو سر کرنے کی چاہ میں سو سے زائد غیر ملکی سیاح جا
