GGDC KTS Haripur will remain closed on account of Winter Vacations as per notification of Higher Education Department from 1st January 2025 to 5th January, 2025.
The college will reopen on 6th, January 2025 as usual.

GGDC KTS Haripur celebrated Quaid-e-Azam Day with great enthusiasm and respect. The event was organized by Social Science society to honor the legacy of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, and to reflect on his vision and principles.

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a speech highlighting Quaid-e-Azam's contributions to the independence movement. Students presented thought-provoking speeches and national songs centered on Jinnah's life and ideology.

The audience was inspired by the motivational addresses by Ms Fouzia Anwar, emphasizing the importance of following Quaid-e-Azam’s principles of unity, faith, and discipline.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a prayer for the prosperity of our nation. The celebration was a meaningful reminder of Jinnah's sacrifices and the values he stood for.

Discipline is an essential part of any institution. It is the foundation upon which we build our characters, and it is what helps us achieve goals.
Keeping in view, the need of discipline and co- curriculur activities, we gathered yo invest our newly elected student leaders with their badges and saches. The ceremony marks the beginning of their journey as leader.
The Ceremony started with the name of ALLAH. The Principal Prof. Farah Naz took oath from the students to upload the values and principles of our institution to serve with integrity and honesty.
Sudent leaders were presented with their badges and sashes. Later on, respected guest Ma'am Farhat Sultan congratulated students and advised them to uphold the values and principles of our institutions.
The Ceremony ended with amazing speech from the Principal .Her words of wisdom will stay with us forever.We wish the students very best of luck in future.

We appreciate the active participation of parents in their child education journey.We discussed student progress, adressed concerns, and explored ways to support our students growth and development.Thanks to all the parents for their continued support.

GGDC KTS Haripur paid tribute to the martyrs of 16th December, a day of rememberance was organized for the students and teachers who got martyred and injured during the brutal attack of terrorists on Army Public School Peshawar. It included English and Urdu speeches, poems and tablo, it ended with Dua for all the effectees.

An Anti-corruption week was conducted with walk in premises of GGDC KTS HARIPUR with panaflex & banners to raise the awareness among students & staff about the social, economic & political impacts of corruption & to promote the value of honesty, integrity & ethical behaviour. The week included seminar, English and Urdu speech and poems regarding anti-corruption awareness.

The event contained different competitions held among students & teaching staff in which participants performed different tasks assigned to them . At the end of event, worthy Principal highlighted the importance of such events.

Awareness Seminar on Diabetes at Government Girls Degree College KTS

An awareness seminar about Diabetes was conducted by Students of BS Zoology, at conference hall of Government Girls Degree College, Khalabat Township. The event was attended by the Principal, faculty members, and students of the college.

*Objective*

The objective of the seminar was to raise awareness about diabetes, its risk factors, symptoms, and management options. The program aimed to educate the audience on how to take control of their health and prevent or manage diabetes.

*Keynote Address*

Tge students of BS Zoology Sem 7 delivered the keynote address. They explained the basics of diabetes, its types, and the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

*Closing Remarks*

In her closing remarks, the principal appreciated the students' active participation and emphasized the importance of early detection and screening of diabetes.

*Conclusion*

The awareness seminar was a success, with a large number of students and faculty members attending. The event achieved its objective of raising awareness about diabetes and its management options.

The strong nations have a strong history of national language and heroes . *Iqbal Day ( youm-e-Iqbal),* the birthday of Muhammad Iqbal on the 9th of november is structured and celebrated to compliment Iqbal, the " *Poet of the East"* every year. To commemorate the 148th birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Department of Urdu *GGDC KTS Haripur,* organized an event.
This day is Celebrated to Recall Allama Iqbal's groundbreaking dream. Opportunities for the young generation and masses for Comprehending Iqbal's message are provided in its Real Sense, Showing them ways to Implement it in their life.Students prepared Speeches on Allama Iqbal, Recited his kalam and also performed on it.
Principal discussed the vision of Iqbal, acknowledged his contributions, and closed the ceremony with this amazing poetry of Iqbal .

Corruption is a complex social, political or economic phenomenon that effect all countries. NAB is focussing more on awareness about different types of corruptions and is playing a major role to help Pakistan eradicate corruption. GGDC KTS is also playing it's part by celebrating Anti corruption week, the students and staff participated with zeal and zest. English and urdu speech competitions, essay writing competitions and poster competitions were organized in the supervision of *Ms. Aqeela*. The *Principal* awarded certificates to winners, appreciated the efforts and participation of everyone, she mentioned that corruption can be eradicated by combined efforts of everyone and every little effort counts in this regard.

Department of Zoology's 1st Online Exam: A Milestone Achieved!

We're thrilled to announce the successful conduct of our first-ever online midterm examination. Associate and Bs Controller of Examination Professor Shehla Bano conducted her first online paper for midterm fall 2024.
The institute plans to conduct regular online assessments for enhanced learning, continuous improvement of technical infrastructure, and expansion to include research-based evaluations

The students and faculty of the Department of Zoology GGDC-KTS are highly applauded by the Principal Prof. Farah Naz. The contributions of Associate Professor Nadia Shabbir and Associte Professor Fouzia Anwer are also appreciated for smooth conduction of the exam.

Inaugural Online Quiz: A Resounding Success by Department of Zoology, GGDC KTS Haripur.

We're thrilled to announce the successful conduct of our first-ever online quiz for students of BS Zoology Sem 7th, on Thursday, 24th October 2024. Associate Professor Fouzia Anwer conducted the quiz as a trial for further incorporation of paperless conduct of examination as per the vision of Prof. Shafiq ur Rehman, VC University of Haripur.

The students showed their willingness for future online examination. The principal Prof. Farah Naz, controller of examination Associate Prof. Shehla Bano and HOD Department of Zoology Associate Professor Nadia Shabbir appreciated the efforts of the instructor and the team for opening new horizons and providing a favourable environment for paperless examination in colleges.

On this day 77 years ago, Indian Security forces landed in Srinagar to illegally occupy the territory and subjugate people of Jammu and Kashmir in clear violation of international law and humanitarian norms. On 5 August 2019, India moved to alter the disputed status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and change its demographic structure. The illegal and unilateral Indian actions have been rejected by the Kashmiri people, by Pakistan, and by the international community for being in violation of International Law, relevant United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions, and India’s own solemn commitments made bilaterally to Pakistan as well as to the people of occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
Despite the horrendous nature and scale of Indian atrocities, and facing the worst form of Indian state –terrorism, the people of IIOJK have demonstrated remarkable courage, strength and resilience. They have proved that India cannot break their will with the use of brute force.
To assure our Kashmiri brothers and sisters, that we honour their sacrifices and salute their indomitable spirit GGDC KTS Haripur observed Black Day. Speeches in both English and Urdu and poems were arranged to re-affirm our unflinching support to the people of IIOJK in their just struggle. Principal Prof. Farah Naz also threw light on the issue to make our youth realize the importance of observance of this day.

Learning today saving tomorrow!
Spreading awareness about ozone layer conservation, A seminar and poster making competition was conducted at GGDC KTS HARIPUR to observe world ozone day under the supervision of Miss Nadia Kiran Incharge social sciences society. Students from the Department of Zoology Semester 7th Sadia Maqsood, Kainat and Haleema Sadia presented the measure of how to conserve ozone layer depletion by showing their creativity and knowledge. We are proud of our young environmentalist.

گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج براۓ خواتین کھلابٹ ٹاؤن شپ جہاں طالبات کو نصابی و ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں میں اپنی صلاحیتوں کا لوہا منوانے کے مواقع فراہم کرتا ہے وہیں پرنسپل پروفیسر فرح ناز کی خصوصی ہدایات پر اس بات کا بھی خصوصی اہتمام کیا جاتا ہے کہ طالبات کو اپنے مستقبل کو روشن بنانے کے لیے نئی راہیں بھی دکھائی جائیں۔ اسی مقصد کو مدِ نظر رکھتے ہوئے شعبۀ اردو کے زیر اہتمام *"اردو ادب اور ہمارا مستقبل"* کے موضوع پر سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس کے مہمان خصوصی پی ایچ ڈی سکالر لیکچرار عدنان خان تھے۔
پروگرام کا باقاعده آغاز تلاوت کلام پاک سے کیا گیا۔اس کے بعد رسالت مآب حضرت محمّد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بارگاہ میں ہدیۀ نعت پیش کیا گیا۔
مہمان خصوصی عدنان خان نے مقررہ موضوع پر سیر حاصل گفتگو کرتے ہوئے طالبات کو اردو ادب کے دائرہ کار، مستقبل میں اس کے امکانات اور پیشہ ورانہ زندگی میں اس کے کردار کے حوالے سے سنہری نکات سے آشنا کیا۔
