An injured ibex was rescued by locals in Avgarch, Jamalabad Gojal Hunza. After it fell from a cliff, breaking its back leg.
Hakim Ali, a local resident, crossing the river with the injured animal to bring it to safety. He later handed over the ibex to the Khunjerab Village Organisation (KVO).
The Wildlife Department is reportedly transporting the ibex to Gilgit for medical treatment. This rescue highlights the community's dedication to wildlife conservation in the region.
