Young mountaineer Sajid Ali Sadpara, along with the Seven Summit Treks team, successfully reached the summit of worlds 10th highest peak Annapurna 8091m in Nepal.

Sajid Sadpara has already summited K2 (8,611m), Gasherbrum-I (8,080m) and Gasherbrum-II (8,035m), in Pakistan and Manaslu (8,163m) in Nepal without supplemental oxygen.

Legend Mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara passed away in Skardu!
On May 17, Sadpara experienced severe injuries when he slipped from a cliff and fell into a ditch during a routine climbing drill.

According to Sadpara’s family, the doctors at the Skardu hospital, where he was taken for treatment, said the mountaineer had fractured his spinal cord and several ribs.
Sadpara was to attempt scaling the K2, the world’s second-highest peak, this summer.

The mountaineer’s career began in 1986 and he had climbed Pakistan’s 8,000-metre peaks 17 times, including the Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum-II, and Gasherbrum-I – all higher than 8,000 metres.

Sadpara was also said to be the coach for prominent mountaineer Ali Sadpara, who passed away last year attempting to climb the K2, Hasan Sadpara and numerous other climbers.

Pakistani mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara falls off mountain, suffers serious injuries

Veteran Pakistani mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara has suffered serious injuries after falling from a mountain during a routine climbing practice near his village in Gilgit.

According to Karar Haideri, the secretary of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, Sadpara was on a routine training expedition in his village when he lost his balance and slipped off the mountain.

“He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors have confirmed that his ribs and backbone have received serious injuries,” he said.

Sadpara was eyeing to summit K2 – the highest peak in Pakistan – this season. This was his only peak left for climbing among all eight-thousanders in Pakistan.

He has summited the Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II and Nanga Parbat for a record collective 17 times. No other Pakistani has summited mountains over 8,000 metres.

Sadpara had made two attempts to summit K2 in the past but both went unsuccessful due to the weather.
