Join us for an amazing adventure to Kutwal Valley, Gilgit, from June 19th to June 24th! We’ll start our journey at 6 am on June 19th from Islamabad, driving through the stunning Naran Kaghan Babusar Road. As night falls, we’ll reach Gilgit, getting ready for the real fun ahead.

The next morning, we’ll head to Hamamosh Valley for an exciting off-road jeep ride that lasts three hours. Then, the real challenge begins as we start our trek to Kutwal Valley. It’s tough, so make sure you’re up for it!

GBMUN ( Gilgit Batistan Model United Nations)
Model United Nations are necessary as they raise our self confidence and self esteem giving us the opportunity to stand for what we believe in. It removes stage fright and is particularly helpful as every participant is given the opportunity to speak. Additionally it makes them more open minded and ensures that every voice is heard and every opinion taken into consideration. This raises the future leaders who can support, maintain and defend their stance without compromising the integrity of their opponents.
Gilgit baltistan is blessed with intuitive and inquisitive bright minds who deserve the opportunity to express their talents on a provincial platform, which utilizes their skills , is based on international standards and provides a competitive environment .GBMUN(Gilgit Baltistan Model united Nations) provides such a platform for the future leaders of our province, giving them an interactive environment that embraces diversity and provides an inclusive atmosphere for students of different region of Gilgit Baltistan and Pakistan. This exposure leads to the exchange of traditions , the birth of new ideas and forms lifelong friendships along the way .
Moreover the event is conducted by qualified and enthusiastic youth who have previously participated in Model UNs and want to give the youth of Gilgit Baltistan the same opportunity. We hope that our youth not only participate in this three day event , rather they become a permanent part of the model UN circuit , harnessing the skills of communication and diplomacy that helpful to them throughout their lives.
The MUN consists of multiple committees that will focus on both national and international issues, giving participants firsthand knowledge of world issues and the various methods to resolve them. Despite the discussion of international problems the primary focus of GBMUN intends to be the disputes and humanitarian conflicts that have direct impacts on the population of Gilgit Baltistan. This raises the self-awareness of the contestants and encourages them to search for answers to the problems affecting their communities.

Congratulations Sirbaz Khan

for becoming the 1st Ever Pakistani to summit Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m) Neepal, the Fourth Highest Peak in the World.

He is from Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, climbed Nanga Parbat (8,124 m) in 2017 and K2 in July 2018.

All summit done without supplementary oxygen.

In one of his interviews, he said:-
